His whole point was that if we can't have laws against LGBT rights based on "moral" reasons, then we can't have laws based on anything on moral reasons. Ridiculous point.

That's what happens when one goes to a top rated law school. I don't need to google leading scholars, I know them or have met them

'Prejudice', by itself, is a fine thing. Discrimination is inherent to human life; we discriminate against scrambled eggs when we choose to cook them sunny-side up instead. Prejudice against minorities, living humans, is a particular case, and ought to be treated differently, and treating it differently - regardless of the subject who's prejudiced - is fine.

Being prejudiced against those who hold prejudicial views is not the corollary of the initial prejudice.

Apparently, to be really, really cool, one must now agree without question that 1) Scalia did compare homosexuality to murder and 2) Because he compared homosexuality to murder, Scalia is a (insert filthy name here).

Liberalism is essentially very simple. Just follow the rules. A judgment of Coolness awaits you.

That is a ridiculous argument. But it still isn't directly comparing murder and homosexuality, and it certainly isn't equating them.
