There's another thread on this topic that was started prior to this one. How about we all go over there?
http://www.debatepolitics.com/genera...s-concert.html (Lawsuit threat cancels Christmas Concert)
The Constitution prohibits the establishment of a national religion and the idea that allowing a concert in a public high school does just that is too silly to really consider. This isn't about legality, etc. This is about simple hatred and is no real different from the idiots protesting building mosques in NYC.
BTW - What happened to going to other thread?
Ahh, I rewatched it and they used to do it at another HS, but they don't mention if it was public or private. Also they don't mention that the performers themselves are HS students. It looks very much like a professional choir/orchestra. The report mentions this is an annual event and that the church sells the tickets with the proceeds going to charity.
Sounds like they're just using the school as a location for the event. Much as public libraries allow any group to use their facilities when not being used for library purposes.

And to think that we voted on Nov 6 in a church.
Can't we just turn Congress off and then turn it back on again?
