Then why should we allow any falsehood to be put out there. This is one of the problems which has led us to where we are today. The Lies, the falsehoods, the deception, and yes.....the actual dumbing down of our younger generations. Which is why you see such extremes to the point of where they are.

I am not real religious. But a few of those Holy Books out there talk about the Meek Inheriting the Earth. That's Meek.....Not Weak!

I was registered on a liberal forum..posted one post about Mcain in the primary...I was very very pro McCain...I got two unbelievable vicious replies to an very generic non combative post..and when I responded pooof I was banned...I laughed my ass off...so its a two way street...

Actually, you can keep a profit from being taxed through transfer pricing: 1) If you are an international company, you have considerable latitude to assign costs and revenues to different countries in which you do business essentially allowing you to assign profit to the country with the lowest tax rates; and/or 2) If you are a domestic company, you can defer the tax on profit for years through a variety of schemes, including accelerated depreciation, cash basis accounting, and utilization of various available tax credits.

More than 78 of the 280 most profitable US companies paid no US corporate income taxes during at least one year in the past three.

Yeah that's evidenced with my jumping off pretty much into all the leisure threads on here. But Obama is Right about one thing. Its about those two distinct ideologies in the country. The part he failed to mention was those of the Left that don't believe in the Progressive's Collective. Such as Kucinich and the Likes of Evan Bayh. (who btw, May just run for the left in 2016 or be picked as a VP)

Still those 76 Cities in this Country that makes up its Nations total Economy.....when all out there acknowledge there has been no recovery. Then guess what.....that's exactly what it means. No recovery.....so the spin can't Change the reality on the ground.

Supposedly, but I'm not hearing anything from our "leaders" regarding cuts. Specifics, I mean, not meaningless vague non-committal rhetoric. All I'm hearing is who will or will not pay more.

I don't have any debts. People like me pay more in a year than people like you pay in a lifetime and yet you use as much or more government services. Your own master-Obama-admitted that in his SOTU address earlier this year

Over a decade of tax cuts for the rich without jobs in return came with a price. You will be receiving our bill shortly. Payback is a bitch Mr. Turtledude!

No, it wouldn't solve our problems. Only 100% elimination of welfare, and drastic cuts to defense, would.
