Hillary Clinton Wins High Popularity, Majority Support for a 2016 Bid

Will Hillary Clinton run in 2016, and would you vote for her if she does?

Hillary is not a lawyer, and has no law background, she's not going to be on the SCOTUS, period.

I believe she has a law degree and that would make her a lawyer yes?

So you think it was Hillary and not Bill who was the sex maniac and had affairs with Jennifer and Monica? LOL.

Seriously, though, there is a lot of sympathy for Hillary over what Bill did to her, and if the GOP even attempts in the slightest to bring it up to attack Hillary with, the backlash will be so bad that the Libertarian Party might end up getting more votes than the GOP in the next election. LOL.

Its only the cons who remember and chide him for it. He currently has the highest approval rating of any former president and most people acknowedge his ability when he was. Even Republicans as seen on this site.

1) Age didn't hurt Ronald Reagan at all. He did a good job as President.

2) Hillary is probably the most qualified Democrat in the stable at this time. She has foreign policy experience now, has a law degree, worked as a lawyer, was twice named one of the top 100 influential lawyers of the year in the United States before Bill became president, and has been on the board of directors of several corporations, which helps her business credentials.

Rather than Secretary of State being a place of exile for Hillary, it is actually a benefit. After Obama is gone, Hillary is definitely the most qualified Democrat to go up against whoever the Republicans will be bringing to the table.

as to point 1 - Cough Cough

no. in the waning months of his presidency he began to show signs of senility, which in retirement manifested itself as alzheimers

2) Hillary is probably the most qualified Democrat in the stable at this time.
what did she do in the senate to prove this to be true

yea. that walmart board membership. not a positive
foreign policy experience
but what has she done as sec state that demonstrates her leadership capacity

Rather than Secretary of State being a place of exile for Hillary, it is actually a benefit. After Obama is gone, Hillary is definitely the most qualified Democrat to go up against whoever the Republicans will be bringing to the table.
they will be bringing ryan, christie, maybe jeb bush, certainly rubio
three of that four have charisma. a critical ingredient. hillary has none (while bill is loaded with it)
hillary will lose if the democrats are foolish enough to make her their candidate

So, I have 2 questions here. Do you think she will run in 2016, and would you vote for her if she does run?

Article is here.

I would probably vote for her. She's got the brains. Just one problem: she isn't big in the charisma department. Those with the greater charisma tend to win.

Yeah, had no idea about that. My mistake.

If you are old enough to remember the Reps first try and the Clintons was over a land deal where she had been part of the legal team.

Yeah I wasn't in the double digit ages when Clinton was the POTUS

Fair enough. In that case you may not have been born yet because at the time he was the Governor of Arkansas.

I voted "don't know, don't care."

I have no idea if she is going to run; I could see it happening, but I could see it not happening as well. I'd be likely to vote for her over the Republicans I feel are likely to run (although it really will depend on how the next four years go), but I'm not a Hillary fanatic by any means.
