Student Suspended for Refusing to Wear a School-Issued RFID Tracker

Well then, that is rather opposite of what government is for.

Not much different than going through airport security to fly, or being forced to wear a shirt to eat at a restuarant.

the HUGE difference is one violates your rights and one doesnt
one is within somebody's rights to do so and one is not

Who has the right to do it? The public school? Does government practice rights?

No, you see the only difference is one violates body sovereignty and privacy, while the other just violates privacy.

Public school property and public property are owned by the same thing...government. The fact that you are trying to make it seem like they are owned by different entities is nothing more than dishonesty. Instead of wasting your time writing "FAIL", why don't you instead write something that is factually correct.

its not "public school property" so thats why you fail, i have no right to be on that property, did you see me mention government property vs public property etc? nope you tried that failed line not me LMAO

here it is again
its school property and they have every right to monitor who is on it, until you can change this fact you have nothing
this is as factyuall as it gets and you lying and saying its not doesnt change that fact ;)
i keep waiting for you to have anything to change this fact, you dont.

I see no conern over this in a rights or freedom regard.

Before the tags the students have no rights or freedoms to go anywhere on school property they please and any time they want

after the tags, that still remains true but can now me monitored me efficiently

nothing is lost

You keep repeating that the students have no rights, and you are correct. But James and Ikari are telling you that this will spread until YOU have to lanyard one of these things around your neck whenever YOU leave your house.

I'm deathly concerned about that aspect.

no privacy is violated

right now my kid is at school and she has NO RIGHT to be anywhere on that property she wants at anytime she wants, thats a fact.
the tags dont change that

can you come and go on it as you please if the school doesnt want you to? nope

So you believe government can practice property rights as any other in society? I will give you a hint, we all own that property.

no privacy is violated

You are aware not being allow all over the property is not connected to this, correct?

i never said the students have no rights, no even once, i said they have no right to be anywhere on the property they choose at any time the want.

and yes im aware that they think a school or business motoring people on their property which they have the right to do will lead to the sci-fi nonsenical of me having a chip at all times for the government to monitor.

they arent the same, if they want to have those nonsensical fears they are welcome to them Lmao

actually it is  at least what im talking about and what matters to my points

It's still owned by the same folk for public schools. It's government land. The "school" a government entity. This isn't private property, well it is in the case of private schools, but we seem to have focused down to the public ones.

They have no rights, as government can have no rights, but they have the privilege to manage and oversee it. But that is not unlimited in scope and power.

you can continually deny this, but that's nothing more than dishonesty on your part as you want to make a case for public monitoring of citizens here without succumbing to the aggregated effects of allowing it in general. It's very clear why you are trying to make this non-existent distinction and pretend that the school has unlimited capacity to monitor the students anyway they want. It's just not true. All government power is limited.

So monitoring you is sci-fi, is it? I guess that would explain why the technology for it exists this very moment. Interesting how you know that monitoring your kids is a reality, but you still somehow believe monitoring you is not possible. There is a certain amount of naivety about that.

they arent the same, if they want to have those nonsensical fears they are welcome to them Lmao

They are the same.

The students who feel this is a no-go need to step up and render the system useless. They'd need at most four cheap jammers, hidden strategically around the school. Not a difficult thing to do. That in itself would end this little experiment.

Or, if they want to go collective action (don't know is this generation has it in them or not), everyone swap cards randomly, every day, at the end of every period.

Or, clone the hell out of them and start leaving the clones in random places. Or, start placing magnets near all the readers (when they swipe the data gets erased/corrupted).

actually it is  at least what im talking about and what matters to my points

I'm afraid not. Not being allow in certain areas at certain times is completely disconnected from this in fact.

sigh, once again
its school property and they have every right to monitor who is on it, until you can change this fact you have nothing.

are you saying you can show up at the school and go where ever you want when ever you want? you have that right? of course you dont lol

Ill keep waiting

1.) weird i never said this at all, but please continue to make stuff up LMAO where did i say the technology doesn't exist???? LMAO
2.) facts and reality disagree

:D

They have a right and a duty to keep the students from misbehaving as well, does that mean they can use any method to do so? Shock collars required?

They have the limited privilege to monitor, yes. This privilege does not grant universal action or force, which is where you are going wrong. Government power is limited. I am not saying that I can show up and go anywhere I want, that's just stupid deflection. But just because some places on public property are off limits doesn't mean that the government now has unlimited license to monitor me anyway I want.

It would be like needing an RFID tag to go to any state or national park. I mean, you can't go everywhere there, yes? Plus you could get lost, and the RFID tag can find you, yes? In public in general there are lots of places you cannot willy nilly go. Just because there exists restrictions does not mean that the privileged party has unlimited force. This is the failure of your argument.

Nothing is lost, right? The crux of Objective's argument. And you can't go everywhere, right? So obviously Objective would have zero problem with schools using shock collars.

I'm afraid not. Not being allow in certain areas at certain times is completely disconnected from this in fact.

actually its not at all LOL

tell me can my kid go anywhere in the school she wants and anytime she wants? can i go anywhere in her school at any time i want? no we cant.

does the school have the right to know who is there and where they are at, yes they do

its directly related, no rights or freedoms are lost in REALITY.

the second part of your statement is just nonsense and has ZERO to do with this LOL

I never claimed you said you thought the technology doesn't exist. Reading would be helpful to you.

Facts and reality do not disagree with me and neither does history.

tags to monitor location which is their right to "shock collars" LMAO thats pure nonsense

physical harm and life endangerment is equal to monitor location on another property now?? :lamo

You still haven't actually gotten that the government does not practice rights, have you? Don't tell me you don't understand the difference between powers and rights. So far that appears to be your problem.

Matter of fact though not being allowed in certain areas does not permit access to being tracked by the individuals that made such a rule.
