    Gallup Poll

    Americans view Barack Obama and the Democratic Party more favorably now than they did before the election. Americans' views of the Republican Party are unchanged, and remain less positive than their views of the Democrats.

    That would be expected, considering campaigning isn't going on anymore..people settle down and it goes into the president's favor. It is a common thing after an incumbent wins.
