    The sad thing is that this is something that has the potential to do a great deal of good for the country, we would finally be able to begin to honor that famous passage in the declaration of independence: "that among these (unalienable rights) are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,"

    You cannot have any one of those things let alone all of them if you do not have your health, anyone afflicted by illness knows how crippling it can be.

    Now, I'm not saying that I think Obamacare is what we need or even that the idea of socialized healthcare is something we're ready for or even that it is something practical right now given the state of the economy but like it or not it's here. Everyone who is bitching about it can either cry about it some more cause hell and make everything a thousand times worse or you can swallow your pride and try to work together with the otherside (and if you did that in the beginning we all would have been much better off now).

    Looks like 28 other Republican Governors need to step up and do what they said too.

    This mental patient look alike is well on his way to being a one term Gov and being carried out of the statehouse in a Straight Jacket.
    Hes pissing off republicans too...there are TONS of republican low income people in florida with NO HEALTHCARE...and there were republicans in those long 6 hr wait lines to vote too because he wouldnt extend early voting back to where it was before he changed it.
