A U.S. drone strike targeted a group of al-Qaida militants on the outskirts of the Yemeni capital Sanaa on Wednesday night, killing at least three terrorists, government officials said.
A White House spokesman did not respond to a request for comment. If it were a American strike, of course, it would have to have been authorized by Obama.

Spreading democracy the good ol way. But dont worry much will "change"

Gitmo is still open, we are still in Afghanistan, and nobel laureate President Obama is still spreading democracy the old fashion way. The only difference is the media doesn't talk about it daily like they did under Bush.

For me this is one of the biggest frustrations about our "Democracy." These immoral and illegal attacks were going to continue regardless of whether Obama or Romney got in. There should be protests in the streets over this injustice and stupidity. Do you know of any organizations that plan to raise hell over this?

Im sure anti war organizations, and mostly leftist, and libertarian organizations.
But specific names i cannot give you.

Obama's not on the left, and we're here questioning him.

How can you say you are a part of a group that you say does not exist? :lamo

Nice revision/backtrack edit there.....

anti-war protests are a thing of the past... they left town when Bush did.

Yemen/UAE/Somalia should be blown off the face of the planet, but unfortunately those groups now have Libya, Egypt, and Syria to hide out in too thanks to, you know, somebody's alleged international leadership.

Perhaps you have an address where we could all send contributions to the fund established for the terrorists? I know many of us would be happy to send something there way.:lamo

Uhhh... What?

I'm sure there are all kinds of organizations established to support Al Quaeda terrorists. If you can't find one, why don't you start one of your own? I mean, they don't have a lot of sympathizers here in the U.S. - no doubt due to nothing more than bad press - so they can use all of the friends they can get.

It's because it is racist to question him, didn't you know? If you question him he will on every talk show with Jay-Z and tell on you.

No, it's just stupid to criticize him for killing terrorists - something we elected him to do and something he promised to do before the first election.

LOL you sir have made me guffaw.

i think the post is pretty clear.

So your saying is that we have the right to violate the sovereignty of other nations, bomb them, kill their citizens, not confirm the kills, and do it again?

Another penetrating analysis of international relations. Brilliant stuff.

I'm saying we have an absolute right to bomb and kill terrorists wherever we can find them. Especially if the country in which they are living is either unable or unwilling to do so. Personally, I'd rather kill them in Yemen than here.

I'm more interested in criticizing him for not killing terrorists right before the election because it would affect his dialogue that Al Qaeda was on the run.

Obama certainly has been tough on terrorism, though. He kept gitmo open and we are still in Afghanistan, just like he promised!

Thank you. I try. I'm always amused when I find defenders and supporters of Al Quaeda on internet forums and I try to encourage them as much as possible.

Yeah, because as we all know he didn't kill any terrorists before the election. He got us out of Iraq, like he promised, and we'll be out of Afghanistan by 2014 - just like he promised. I know, it's unusual for you guys to find a President who does what he says. Like killing Bin Laden. Something George Bush talked about and Barack Obama did.

I didn't say there's no such thing as the left. I said Obama's not on the left. Hardly anyone in the US government is. There's Bernie Sanders. There's Dennis Kucinich, but he's leaving, and that's it. That's all we have in the Federal Government, but extremists b1tch about leftists as if they had taken over. There's the right and the extremist far right. That's the makeup of American politics.

Killing "terrorists" in Yemen is a dumb thing to do. First, we don't know they're terrorists. Second, we kill many more innocent people than those who might be terrorists. We're just helping al Quaida to recruit. You kill one or two (maybe) and then they recruit hundreds. There will be another 9/11 and we'll be asking, "Why do they hate us?" They hate us because we kill their fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers -- and their children. You would hate another country too if they flew drones here and killed your family members.

This is why we need a real left in American politics. The Greens would stop this nonsense. The Democrats are on the right and therefore won't. The Republicans are on the extremist far right and certainly won't stop and will probably start a war with Iran.
