Wow, big development. What will happen federally and will this be the beginning of a trend? I hope so. Thoughts?

I hope it works out well for the people of CO. I have always felt this should be a state issue and the federal government should stay the hell out of it.

expect the federal government to stick their noses in. obama has been as radical as any president on busting legal marijuana shops.

What is the cost of living average out to out there?
"We’re going to close the unproductive tax loopholes that allow some of the truly wealthy to avoid paying their fair share. In theory, some of those loopholes were understandable, but in practice they sometimes made it possible for millionaires to pay nothing, while a bus driver was paying ten percent of his salary, and that’s crazy." -Reagan

I lived there for about a year. Pretty expensive in the mountains. Reasonable in the metro areas comparably. Also, I lived in a small mountain town with 3 dispensaries and none saw any raids. I think it's not going to be as cut and dry as some may think. This will certainly be the next big test/step towards legalization. I actually quit smoking a while ago for personal reasons and plan to stay with that, but I'll admit that if this passes, I'm going back to visit some friends and lighting up in celebration of the end of a bull**** prohibition.
