Eh, they are as reliable as the left leaning stuff, 'bout half the story will be accurate and it will be biased towards the ideology. I don't argue that point, but I can say after being through multiple hurricanes that the northeast needs to get ahead of this because these situations devolve quickly.

Yeah, I was busy in radio then so I missed some of the finer details. I remember now how bogged down BR was, met a lot of NG when they were off duty and they were ecstatic to be in Laffy at the time, many of them were not impressed by BR.

Yes, there are hack sites on the left as well.

I agree with you about the Northeast. It doesn't take long for human beings to get desperate and with a Nor'easter headed their way, an already bad situation can get much, much worse.

"We're getting scattered reports of senior citizens, some people in public housing who are running out of food and are in high-rise buildings and can't get out of their buildings, because in some cases, the elevator is not operational and they're literally running out of food," Cuomo said during a press briefing late Wednesday night at his Midtown office.
The first plane carrying supplies and FEMA staff came into JFK airport Thursday morning, according to Cuomo. The National Guard and FEMA will be working with the city and major nonprofits to deliver food and water to stranded residents by going door to door, he said.

Just think of the seniors stranded in high-rises. We getting good information about how FEMA's doing. Maybe Monday.

But one million bottles of water and one million meals doesn't sound like much to me.

Ok...well...how about you provide us with a link showing how provisions are overflowing in those areas and Breitbart is full of doo-doo?

Just imagine these folks. This is a huge cluster-fark.

Fair enough then. I don't use Breitbart as more than a starting point, but it seems like this time they are more accurate. You tend to see the best and worst in people during these situations, there are going to be people putting their own interests on the back burner to help, then there are people who will take full advantage of the situation. The city/state governments especially need to focus and fast, FEMA was always meant to be a tertiary and they don't tend to do well in primary and secondary roles.

The military has shipped in its heavy tankers. These are large tanker trucks that can carry 25,000 gallons of water or more. I have seen some that can carry up to 100,000

When you put the numbers in perspective, if NOLA would have 1M meals and water at it's full population that's 90% of the city twice served, NYC is roughly 10M people so that's less than one percent of people once served. They definitely need help.
