William Koch, Billionaire Koch Brother, Accused Of Imprisoning Executive

Billionaire William Koch is facing a lawsuit in federal court from a former top-level employee who claims the energy mogul lured him to a secluded property, where he was imprisoned and interrogated for a period of time, according to a report in Courthouse News.
John Houston Scott, an attorney for Kirby Martenson, a former executive for a number of Koch subsidiaries, confirmed the story to HuffPost, adding that he guessed the case could go to trial in a year.

    If true quite a shock

and if true I strongly doubt he would see any jail time, when an ordinary person would get 10 years or so

It's a tort, so I highly doubt even an ordinary person would get 10 years.

Forceable confinement in my books is equal to kidnapping, and generally kidnapping is more then just a few years
The plantiff seems to want just money, but it should also become a criminal trial

So you think there's enough evidence to bring a criminal case, but the district attorney is refusing to do so because Koch is rich?

Money can buy alot of legal resources. The DA only has so much, and wants to keeps their win record as high as possible. Which generally allows for the easier to prove civil lawsuit as the only means to partially right a wrong

So you admit you don't know the facts, but you have no problem impugning our criminal justice system and asserting that they will cynically neglect to prosecute Koch because he is rich.

Yes that part is exactly what i am saying

Justice or lack of it is heavily influenced by the amount of money a person has to spend.
