The Republican strategy isn't about race, never has been. In fact, if you want to go to the 40 year rule, LBJ signed on to the civil rights act because he realized that the Republican party was going to get it passed and wanted political leverage. In fact LBJ has a very racist quote about the Democrat party advantage I won't share here due to hate speech rules, it involves the N word and locking up the vote for generations though.

Welfare Queens, Willie Horton, ObamaPhone, ObamaMoney, New Black Panther Party etc... Have one message "be afraid whitey the blacks are coming".
There are in fact "wellfare queens" also known as "baby farms" who use loopholes to get larger government checks instead of working, it's not a race thing but a laziness and lack of class thing. Willie Horton's killers got the death penalty for murder, can't really punish them more than that. Obamaphone, watch the video, same with Obamamoney and if you don't get sick you aren't paying attention. New Black Panther party? You mean the same bunch of thugs hanging outside of a Pennslyvania polling area with weapons shoving them in the faces of white people and saying "That's right, the black man's gonna win, deal with it" those guys? Those same guys NOT prosecuted by the first black president and his black attorney general?

If you want to throw the race card out in favor of Democrats be very careful, because you won't like the counter.
Neither side in an argument can find the truth when both make an absolute claim on it.

not the only state with the good ole boys democrats,in texas there are quite a few democrat loyalists, who are also the most conservative people you will ever meet(i dont mean austin democrats i mean backwoods democrats)
Well KY is slowly becoming Republican anyways. Nationally, it is totally republican. Locally it is almost totally democrat. I was referring to the fact that anyone here that would normally vote democrat, can't give a solid reason why not to vote for
Obama in my area but will quickly point out without you asking, it's not because he is black. Romney, like McCain is winning in Ky polling by a ridiculous margin, one that no candidate on either side has ever had in Kentucky, not even Clinton or Reagan.

In theory, some of those loopholes were understandable, but in practice they sometimes made it possible for millionaires to pay nothing, while a bus driver was paying ten percent of his salary, and that’s crazy." -Reagan

There is so much dirty politics going back to Nixon's foolish Watergate that you can't count anything out.

Do you think the lady at the McCain rally who told McCain that Obama was an Arab could have been an Obama supporter? Or just an ignorant redneck?

I love the NSA. It's like having a secret fan-base you will never see, but they're there, watching everything you write and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that I may be some person's only form of unconstitutional entertainment one night.

you actually still have a lot of the klan active in PA and Ohio. Shouldn't really surprise anyone they don't like Obama.

Though if you think this adds any commentary to their campaign itself you're sorely misguided

The point of this whole conversation, at least as far as I am concerned, is not whether this guy is a plant or what party he supports, but is the fact that he was insensitive enough to where a shirt that made that sort of statement on it (and I am White Irish btw). Do people use the 'welfare system' for their own gains...yes. Even the Corporations. Is there still bigotry and rascism in this country...yes. Are there stupid pewople, ignorant people, idiots....yes. But whether he was a plant or from a 3rd party or an actual suppoter he should have been asked to either leave or change his shirt. Could they legaly do that? well that is a question of 1st amendment rights of Freedom of Speech(expression). I personally think it falls under the same category as shouting fire in a crowded theater but as I am not an attorney I can say for certain. It was ill advised at best and intentionally meant to antogonize at worst either way he was wrong.

How do you know someone didn't say something to him?

Hell, for all we know, he's a Libbo just stirring up trouble.

Liberal events have had worse, but the Leftists screamed free speech, like when the president and American soldiers were burned in effigy.
