Judge Orders WMATA To Post ‘Anti-Jihad’ Subway Ads

It was an excellent decision. Unexpectedly good.

It did come at the District Court level, however. It will be interesting to see what the decision will be when the issue hits the extra-terrestrial 9th Circuit Court from the planned San Francisco ads or even a lifetime appointed federal appeals judge in NY.

Best to enjoy the victories while we can.

It was disgusting to see the behavior of the spray painter, a professional woman who has appeared on CNN, who speaks to justify the behavior of the Religion of Peace.

As an NYC resident I was happy to hear about this decision.

The thing to remember is, there's nothing stopping a Muslim group from putting up an ad saying "Israel sucks" right next to these ads.

I don't wanna see these things on my trains and busses, it is hateful political rhetoric that will only cause anti Israeli ads to appear. I bet a lot of so called conservaties will rejoice, but this is an attack on free speech, forcing ads to be out up when the company doesn't want to.

Wmata and metro transit police have a tough enough job as is, these judges are only going to make it harder.

I agree its a good decision. But the poster is bigotry. Somehow saying that the people that speak out against Israel are "savages" or "uncivilized" is sickening.

That's correct, and that is as it should be. Likewise I would expect a judge to treat such odious messages as racist ads and ads calling our troops baby-killers they same way.

Well of course not, but these ads were pro-Israel, so therefore if you don't like it you're anti-semitic.

I saw these disgusting ads a couple weeks ago on the New York subway, but I haven't seen them on WMATA yet. I don't think they'll last very long...I bet they get vandalized pretty quickly.
