    No concerns here.
    It is New York.
    It has been tried before.
It will not be an issue.

If they were total incompetents they wouldn't be so dangerous.

    Exactly.

A "news source" called "Hot Air" constructs an alarmist article because a "lawmaker" has "proposed" an idiotic law. This the becomes a thread called "microstamping could close AMERICAN factories". ooh, scary.

Unless you live in this little town in upstate New York, no jobs are threatened. I wouldn't mind if the factory moved to, say, Nevada.

    Much ado about nothing......

one of the tactics of the ARC is for supporters to pretend that some proposals are

    1) not realistic and will never be enacted into law

    2) or pretend that the proposals are "reasonable" restrictions

One of the main reasons why Gun haters propose extremist idiotic restrictions is to make almost as extreme and usually as idiotic OTHER proposals to appear to be reasonable

Hey! I'm getting better! That was the first thing I thought of.

What a stupid regulation. Case and point. Made. Stupid regulations cost jobs.

the people pushing this aren't stupid. They will then demand for the law to be effective you cannot replace the firing pin. Its like the moronic assault weapon ban. after that idiotic law was passed, gun makers deleted stuff like FLASH HIDERS, BAYONET LUGS etc on their rifles so the weapons could be sold legally. The gun haters who passed the law then complained that the makers were VIOLATING THE SPIRIT OF THAT IDIOT LAW-when told that the makers were complying with the law Diane FeinSWINE whined that the purpose was to stop the sales but she didn't have enough votes to ban semi autos but that was the spirit of the law
