It's not a "crime scene." It's the site of an act of war and an egregious security breach.

Preposterous. Will the press give them this pass? They shouldn't.

This is against all traditions of freedom of the Press and another cover-up by the Obama Administration for the embarrassingly incorrect responses to this tragedy.

They are no doubt hoping it will all go away if they stonewall enough.

An ongoing disgraceful performance that can only help the enemies of the US!

This is bull****. And know what it tells me? All is not as it seems. Wake up.

Maggie...of course all is not as it seems.... there is a secret agenda with this President. Everybody knows that by now!

I don't believe it is beneficial for any discovery to be shared with the public at large, especially while tensions in the region remain so inflamed.

I don't see anything out of line with what the State Department said here.
    Well said.

For those of you who believe the State Department will ever release any relevant information...think again.

"I will make a personal pledge to you that if I become aware that information we gave that first night is radically wrong in a way that you deserve to know, I will do my best to get that information to you,"
That statement is so full of qualifiers as to make it useless as a promise.

    Hi Mya,

I have no plans on voting for Obama. Can't think of any reason why I would, based on the last four years anyway.

So, my opinion about this has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with national security. My concern is not for Obama, but for the people that put their lives on the line for us everyday.

I just wish the Obama Administration had done this regarding the OBL mission, and kept their mouths shut then. Two of my buddies were on that mission, and are not happy at all about the bragging that outed them. Their families are in hiding now.

Now that? That pissed me off.

This one? Not at all. One of the few moves regarding the military or national security or international relations that they got right. Let's see how long they can keep their mouths shut. My guess? Not long. And the only reason they are now? Hillary put a lid on it. If she had been in the White House, I don't think we ever would have heard about ST6 taking out OBL.

Could not agree more...and now that Al-Qa'eda have taken responsibility for what happened in Libya; now that the red herring the US Gov't were using by way of a you tube video has thoroughly been debunked/disqualified by both the Libyan gov't and the organization that actually carried out the attacks, they will fall all over themselves to take the American public's attention off of this...they got the narrative wrong...that doesn't mean they are obligated to jeopardize the security of other US personnel in the region in the process.

Yep. They sure hate going public with any info on the raid:
