Seeing as 11% of non-conservatives (Very Liberal, Liberal, and Moderate) said the same thing, I have to think there's a problem with how the question was asked.

Now, MY question is -- WHY was the question even asked at all?

I'm going with the theory that it was there to set a baseline for complete blithering idiots.

The fact that they have Mitt Romney as a person who had ties to killing OSBL influences a person on their knowledge or incorrect knowledge of the issue. In other words simply having Romney on the choices implants the idea that he had something to do with it..and for the uninformed that is a cue to answer with Romney

IMHO some people simply dislike polls and pollsters. Others dislike Obama so much they refuse to give him credit for anything. I think this could fall in the same category as Holocaust deniers. They don't actually believe what they're saying they believe. Their contempt prevents them from giving their perceived enemy any advocacy and are willing to revise history to that end and/or they think it'll get under that perceived enemy's skin, in this case President Obama and his supporters.

Probably half the voters regardless of who they are voting for couldn't point to Afghanistan on a world map or name both their United States Senators.

The OP article is just one of a million pointless partisan smear blog pieces and this is "breaking news" then ANY so-calling Internet "news source blog" is "breaking new."

A lot of blog pieces get put in "breaking news." Including righty ones.

I got it: Would you like to see Mitt Romney take the credit he deserves for killing Osama Bin Laden?

    Already found...

The point being...there are maroons on both sides of the aisle. With our current debt and economic situation loom how many people are just foamy about the opportunity to rush to the polls and vote for 'their guy'.

And did I read that correctly? 11% of the democrats asked said Romney deserved the credit as well? Funny...you would think THAT would be a more embarrassing headline.

For sure. But no matter a person's persuasion, thinkng that Romney had anything to do with OBL qualifies thar person as a complete idiot.

I'm not one to give a whole lot of credit to Obama...but more than Romney t be sure.

I agree...thats why I was shocked to see 11% of the democrats believed Romney was responsible. Looking at the actual survey only 63% TOTAL believed Obama deserved the credit. Thats a whole lot of stupid.
