Occupy protesters march on DNC

Green partiers that, given the choice, will likely disproportionately vote Democrat.

They aren't Democrats, but probably would vote for Obama over Romney. And they are super fun to screw with.

A replay of 1968 Democratic National Convention? Will we have a new Chicago Seven? Hilarious.

A Chicago Seven that has a much smaller amount of supporters, to be sure.

As my DI used to say, a mix of fruits and nuts.

Yeah, to be honest, from the ones interviewed around here, I don't think any two of them agreed upon what the "movement" was all about.

Wow what bunch of nuts lol

It's amazing how composed those police officers are to such stupidity.

I'm not sure . . .

The impasse was broken after two protesters spoke to Charlotte police chief and said they were told they could continue to walk as a group on public sidewalks. They then continued past the city’s convention center, where delegates had been attending some peripheral functions. [...] At one point, a group of delegates shouted “Four more years!” The marchers responded: “No more years!”

The 50 protesters were part of a larger group of about 200 members of the Occupy movement who marched towards the convention site from an encampment nearby. They did not have a permit or follow a designated parade route.

I'm not sure . . .

Wait for poll numbers to move in Romney's direction. In that event, should that happen, I'm willing to bet a large segment would see the "imminent danger" of a "rise of the Right-wing."

Watching that I kept hoping for the pepper spray or the taser moment to make it worth watching.

Why would the Democrats ever support something that what to do away with the two party system and stop them from being bought and paid for?

but seriously the occupy movement will never be taken seriously unless they unite behind a single movement and eliminate the vandals and blatant lawbreakers from their group that hurt their image more than help.

I am doing a lot of video enhancement on some footage I got from OccupyRNC... it's is just amazing stuff... and the video I posted before luckily was well lit so I didnt have to do a lot of gama and lighting manipulation...

This is the same troubles that Ron Paul supporters face. There is no room for them under the Republican wing, and there is no room for Occupyers under the Democratic wing. The only choice they are left with is to oppose the other side, but no one actually supports them. The right ignores the calls for smaller government, the left ignores calls for social equality. I've spoken with many Occupyers who were not satisfied with Obama, but I don't imagine any of them would think Romney and his ilk to be better.

Both of our main candidates are pro big business, pro war, pro big government, and anti privacy. Just about the only difference between the two parties is the degree to which they pander to the rich and to big corporations, and social/religious issues like reproductive rights for women and gay marriage.

Those ungrateful little twits, how dare they question the Messiah.
