A fanatic is one who can't change his mind and won't change the subject.
A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.
I'm very surprised by the relatively small size of the Occupy protests at the DNC. They truly have fizzled.
The occupy movement started out attacking Republicans and big business so the Dem's tried to jump on the bandwagon hoping they were going to be an answer to the tea party. This blew up in their faces when all the crime, violence and destruction took over the movement and now it is coming back to bite them in the ass a second time. Nobody ever said the Dem's controlled the occupy movement only that they allied with them in a desperate attempt to find some grass roots movement that hated conservatives and supported liberal Democrats.

Demand moderation - Occupy TPL!
You know that the Occupy movement is an actual threat to power, since the media is going OUT of its way to try and dissmiss them or demonize them ....
You know the Tea Party is not a threat to power since the media way overstates them and praises them and the rich support them.
Thats why I love it when libertarians say "no the rich actually would suffer from libertarian policies?" yeah then why are they always supporting you, the fact is the rich will get the libertarian policies that THEY want, but not the ones that don't support them, I don't see many libertarians trying to actively fight against corporate personhood for example.
But the fact that Occupiers are being demonized, assaulted, dismissed, arrested and so on, means that we are doing something right.
The five great lies of the
We can be Godless and free. • “Social justice” through forced redistribution of wealth. • Silencing religious opinions counts as “diversity”. • Freedom without moral and personal responsibility. • Civilization can survive the intentional undermining of the family.
The purpose is to challenge the Corporate control over the government ... thats been clear to anyone from the begining ....
But it just goes to show that the Occupy movement is actually challenging power .... the Tea party movement is not.
