Ron Paul: 'I Don't Fully Endorse' Mitt Romney

the reality is about 50% of those eligible vote, and of those 50% voting, about half will vote for the GOP.

And the average age of those voters? The Party will have to evolve to accommodate/win back the newer generations. Its either that or become irrelevant and fade away.

And the average age of those voters?

it doesn't matter. All young people think their generation is going to shake things up.

of course the party will evolve. they will also cheat to maintain power when they don't evolve fast enough.

And things do change with each generation. It wasn't long ago when we segregated blacks and whites. Now we have a black president.

of course the party will evolve. they will also cheat to maintain power when they don't evolve fast enough.

The point is that the Party tries to hold on to archaic ideas on social policy. It may buy them votes for now but I believe it will hurt them in the long run.

you talk about the party like it is a person. the party is a slowly evolving manifestation of what the people want, nothing more.

A cheap ploy and dirty pool like everything else the GOP does like the entire Newt contract on 92, like Nixon, like Reagan, like Dubya, like that f**king charade that is Libertarianism/the Tea Party carved out of whole cloth by the GOP so disracted types would not notice the Republicans stand for ABSOLUTELY ZERO, and obstruction ONLY.

Personally, I don't care if Obama turns into a pumpkin at midnite on Nov. 2nd. At least you should recognize corruption in the whole process, not just one party.

I say again ... How does asking for proof of natural birth fit into any of your catagories?

By Party I mean the Republicans who are people. You know what I mean.

the party is a slowly evolving manifestation of what the people want, nothing more.

And some organizations fail or, at the very least, hurt themselves when people in those organizations make poor decisions.

Many countries have trade without installing bases/invading foreign soil.

Good for them. None are superpowers and half are probably starving to ****.

Good for them. None are superpowers

Well duh. You become a superpower through interventionist policies.

and half are probably starving to ****.

So if you don't invade other countries you starve to death. Gotcha.

Either you do or you don't Mr. Paul. Ron Paul is over with. So is Rand and the phony Libertarian debate ploy created by GOP Elitists to sabotage factual political reportage and debate, with ephemeral platform positions.

This election is such a farce, it is just like 1996. The GOP knew Dole or anyone else wouldn't beat Clinton. So they focused on the Congress and dirty politics and slander, like the Birthers do today.

Really? How does asking for proof of natural birth fit into any of your catagories?

Methinks you're afraid that your boy might not be qualified.

ITS RACISM disguised as legitimate issue, as you know. Plus its BS, divide and conquer.

far from it.

Our refusal to join early on in both WW1 and WW2 allowed us to quickly surpass previous powers.

So if you don't invade other countries you starve to death. Gotcha.

I doubt you will find hatuey willing to debate that throw away comment. he certainly doesn't agree with it enough to allow me to cite him on it in my sig line, as he comes off looking like an ass by anybody that reads it.

I really don't think that's accurate.

I really don't think that's accurate.

I really think it is.

Prior to WW1, we were becoming an extremely rich nation, but not in comparison to powers in Europe.

After WW2, we clearly surpassed those nations, and the two factors most in play for this is we did not spend as much capital on the war efforts, and our dollar (still backed internationally by gold) became the reserve currency used by all international trade.

Right, but your contention was that our success was due to avoiding war for a period of time which isn't really accurate at least not like the narrative you paint. For example in 1914 the US had excluding the fullest extent of the British Empire and even then it is debatable the largest economy on the planet, so the first point isn't true. In World War II we gained some time in preparing our military and reorienting our industry for war, but I'm not sure what you are getting at.

I'm not following your response, specifically the bold part. Is this worded as you want it to read?

Would like to respond, but not sure what you tried to say.

ITS RACISM disguised as legitimate issue, as you know. Plus its BS, divide and conquer.

A lib playing the race card and not answering the question. Typical lib mantra.

Denial and and subterfuge always a GOP trait.

The same Birther websites like Alex Jones and WorldNetDaily also say flouride in the water is a communist plot. Straight out of Dr Strangelove! Theres an awful lot of race baiting on those sites.

Why should Mexicans, Muslims, or Arab Americans be singled out for persecution in his news coverage, or blacks persecuted with Obama/Kenyan stories?

Likewise, the U.S. Constution forbids such persecution, and Right Wingers are always bring up "defending the Constitution," right?

I actually think the Birthers and people like the Koran burning preacher Terry Jones from Missouri are part of a larger PSYOP to appeal to the lowest common denominator, bigots. Organized nuttery via the Republican Party is nothing new. Jerry Falwells Clinton Chronicles, Paula Jones and the WTC mosque protest were bankrolled by GOP Elites, and the Republican machinery.

Mitt just cant seem to find unconditional love from anywhere.

In an interview with the New York Times, Ron Paul detailed his conversations with Republican National Convention organizers, who he says offered him a speaking slot under conditions he couldn't meet.

According to Paul, convention planners offered the Texas congressman the chance to speak under two conditions: that he gave a speech pre-approved by Romney's campaign, and that he give a "full-fledged" endorsement of Mitt Romney.
“It wouldn’t be my speech," Paul said. "That would undo everything I’ve done in the last 30 years. I don’t fully endorse him for president."

SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is anyone surprised............NO!!!! Nothing to see here folks, move along.

What I am saying is interventionism is a part of being/becoming a superpower. Of course it helped our position by avoiding a lot of the mass destruction of the world wars.

Apparently in your mind this has something to do with the topic of Ron Paul.

As I stated before ... put the race card back in the deck. You libs are the only ones talking about it. No different than the Kenyan crying all the way through his 08 campaign about how the Republicans were going to use his race against him. Did you happen to notice that the only person mentioning his race was the Kenyan?

It pleases me greatly to know that you libs get all worked up when I call the imposter a Kenyan. You hate it because you know it's true. God I love it.

Nobody brings up race but the Kenyan? Does that not bring up race? Why can't you call him by name, he has one you know

Really? And Kenyan brings up race? ... Which race does it bring up? 50% white, 37.5% arab, 12.5% black.

I guess I call him the Kenyan because I remember all the names the Dims and Libs called George W. Bush. Seems like y'all can dish it out, but you can't take it.

-I have not dished out and I'd really appreciate it if you didn't link me to either the dems or libs because I am neither.

Pointing out his supposed nationality is bringing up race because of the assumption linked with nationality. If you say mexican, I assume that person is hispanic. If you say japanese, I assume that person is Asian. If you say Kenyan, I assume that person is black and so forth
