This is why I support universal coverage, in large part. However, I have accumulated so many objections to Obamacare that I believe this law actually sets the reform movement back, rather than furthering it.
Correct me if I am wrong, but...

Under Obamacare, employers are only required to pay a majority of the health insurance premiums, and still require the employee to pay towards their insurance coverage.

    Which means....

Less Net Pay for the Pizza Delivery Guy who already makes $7.25 an hour plus tips (or less due to getting tips).

Maybe he'll reduce his workforce or something.

I bet you're right. And then we'll have to wait an hour or longer for our pizza to be delivered.

I never said that this 20 cents a pizza price increase will bankrupt the ****ing company. I'm saying that it will decrease demand, meaning if it's 20 cents a pizza now, if there is a 10 percent decrease in demand, that's actually much higher than 20 cents a pizza, more like 25 cents. I mean he threw a number out there, but this stuff is always inaccurate to say the least, and never in a good way.

The people who are working for a pizza company are usually high school kids who don't need health insurance as they are already covered under their parents plan.

This feel good crap has to stop. Everything in this country is going up in price and it's always ok if it's going to help some zit faced teenager throwing pizzas in a bag to have health insurance they don't need. Yea, wonderful.
Oh geez, remind me to never use your models for any marketing campaigns.

I think it's wishful thinking to think that Pizza Delivery Guy (who is a part-time worker) is going to get healthcare insurance through his employer.

That pizza delivery guy is going to get Medicaid and will be required to spend, at most, 2% of his pay toward the premium cost.
