'You owe us $6 bln for 9/11' - US to Iran, Al-Qaeda, Hezbollah & Taliban

The US Congress has approved more new sanctions against Iran in the latest bid to derail the country's nuclear program. It comes after an American federal judge ordered the country - along with Al-Qaeda, Taliban and Hezbollah - to pay 6 billion dollars for supposedly aiding the 9/11 attacks. RT's Gayane Chichakyan explains what might be next after the judgment.

So we want Iran, and Hezballah to pay $6 billion dollars for 9/11? Well its largely symbolic, but that is beyond the point. What proof do we have Iran and Hezbollah have any connection or anything to do with 9/11? Oh yea nothing. The 9/11 Commission report even admits it has nothing to do with the attack. Whats the point of this? Cause more fear against the Iranians?

Iran hated Bin Laden, Al Qaeda and the Taliban. President Khamati condemned 9/11 and even offered support against Afghanistan. The axis of evil speech was completely moronic and destroyed a good opportunity to play of local animosity to our advantage. Its absolutely pathetic that congress is filled with idiots who don't even understand just how much rivalry their is between different groups in the middle east. Lumping groups who routinely commit acts of violence against each onto the same team is insane.

yay, lets antagonize Iran for no reason whatsoever. Half a billion Muslims want to kill all Americans as it is, what's another 100 million.

Na. We gotta go sticking our nose all over the world, police it, we have a lot of contracts to live up to with the military industrial complex...

Can't build roads and other infrastructure without petroleum guys. It's not like we're intervening just for the heck of it or because it sounds fun. Resources, resources.

Yeah. Or don't and accept inevitable economic decline relative to what we've been used to. It's a last ditch effort.

    Hmmm..
So we gotta invade countries, kill people, for natural resources. I mean **** diplomacy! Lets just bomb the **** out of people, take all their natural resources and leave. I mean i really dont give a **** about peoples lives or our own soldier lives because oil is more important than human lives.
I mean that to me doesnt seem very "libertarian" of you. Breaking a countries national sovereignty because of a resource beneath the ground.
