This guy makes me question my stance on the death penalty for sure...however, I think a week in general population might just do the trick, anyways.

Since I am against the death penalty no matter I think life without chance of parole is the best option.
We should use him as a test subject for the kind of scientific experimentation that is often forbidden for ethical reasons. There's no logic in preserving his safety nor prevention of pain, but to just take him out or have him slowly rot seems to be quite wasteful.
I'm more interested in his mind; what makes him tic, the psychology of this madman and the thought process that drives him to such terrible and destructive actions. We should use whatever means necessary to discover such information so that we can come to a greater understanding of his mind. Once that is complete, then he can be eliminated.
Who cares what she thinks? Just because she was there doesn't give her any kind of special authority on the subject.
He deserves to go through the criminal justice system and have a fair trial the same as everyone else.
