Thank you for proving my point that most right wingers don't give a damn what anybody else thinks of us or our leaders. It's that good ol' Hooterville mentality.

Romney was a guest in Briatin. It wasn't his job to point out problems - in fact it was damned rude. As even Conservative commentators like Krauthammer have figured that out.
He was ASKED. Implied personal attack is noted. Mods, do I get ask if he lives in dickheadville?

Uh-huh, and you don't go shoot your mouth off whenever you feel like it in international politics. He could have at least said 'I trust our good friends the Brits here to get it under control.' Instead he went and questioned if we even care. Not a smart move.

Crap I guess he has lost Britains vote. Losing that many electoral votes is probably going to kill him. He should just concede now.
You may not realise it, but this hits the nail on the head. It seems many Americans have no idea how much Obama repaired America's international reputation after Bush, and we don't want Romney to undo all that. America is the world's superpower, and you want the rest of us to love you not fear you, right? American power is built not on military might, but on 'soft power' - an open culture and the defence of democratic values. Think how it looks to the Chinese, or the Arabs, when the US doesn't give a damn. It hurts America, too.

He made a few comments...NONE of which attacked or criticized. Idiots and mindless ideologues seized on any scrap they could to use it to attack Romney. I'll say something that IS insulting to Brits...that is pretty common. I spent 3 years there...LOVED the people we knew and associated with, but many Brits are the dictionary definition of "tiny dick syndrome."

Romney asked (as with the SLC Winter Olympics) the only question you CAN ask prior to the games begin, "if you build it, will they come?" And you took offense at that? Good god...if you unclenched at least a few hours a day, your testicles may actually one day drop.

Actually it is the people of our one reliable ally in the world that are upset. But I know, you folks don't give a damn about what anybody - ally or not - thinks about us or our potential Presidents. Undoubtedly the British Press and Charles Krauthammer have joined the liberal media bias crowd.

His comments in the UK just show he's a bit of a nit, and since the current British government are too there is at least a certain fellow-feeling there. More importantly, he has more-or-less committed himself to supporting any war-crime the zionists care to try and is trying to build up a new cold war with Russia. Like masters like man, I suppose - nutty as a fruitcake.
