What really happenned is they wrote a letter suggesting that he should be looked at as a possible suspect. Ok, I get that.

Then the kool-aid drinkers decided to interpret that as "Oh the Republicans found the guy! Let's dogpile on him without any evidence!"

That's why we are talking in a thread with the incredibly unreasonable title "National Security Advisor Tom Donilon is Leaker of Classified National Security Info" when in reality there is no evidence he did anything wrong.

Except, of course, Obama is tough on terrorism. Ask Osama Bin Laden or any of the other former terrorists who've been paid a visit by U.S. drones. The only people who don't think Obama has been tough on terrorism are right wing partisan hacks.

Or entire nations in the middle east, Africa and Asia. Ask the man on the street in Afghanistan if our war on terror makes him feel all warm and fuzzy; since Obama has announced the U.S. military end date there. I agree that zapping these morons with drones, supported with intel and special ops is far better than playing nation building games, but that alone will not "git-r-done". We must stop rewarding failure and paying "nations" like Pakistan/Afghanistan money to laugh at us while letting Osama Bin Laden spend his retirement there. We have NO cohesive foreign policy except to toss money in every direction and hope it all just works itself out. USA, USA, USA...

So McCain and Lieberman just guessed ?

Nope. Of course, Obama will claim "Executive Privilege", as that is the new Legislative Branch

No, that's not what they did. They wrote a letter asking for a special prosecutor to INVESTIGATE the motives and people behind these leaks. Nice reframe, but it's actually nice to see the congress doing it's job once in a while.

And if it turns out they are correct you'll look rather silly calling folks "kool-aid drinkers".

You think they just pulled his name out of a hat somewhere? Again, they gave the reasoning behind their suspicion (that you ignore because it doesn't suit you) and asked for a non-biased special prosecutor to find the facts. I'm sure you don't think any investigation is necessary.

Read the title of the link from Fox dude. They said that they suspect this guy, amongst others, as a suspect.

I ain't complaining that some people are saying "maybe it was this guy? We should check it out." I am complaining that there are people that have already indited this guy in their head. That's why you are posting in a thread that proclaims this guy as being guilty, without any evidence that he is guilty.

Again, i'm fine with being suspicious, I'm not fine with people assuming he did it as many right wingers are doing in this thread and all over the web.

Obama is pathetic. Everyone in his Administration seems to be dirty.
Iirc, we learned during the Bush Admin if the Pres says it's okay, then it's not illegal to leak classified info. Here's the bed we made.
    I may be wrong.

So you are all for appointing a special prosecuter to investigate ? And have no doubts that Obama is concerned about such leaks, and would not compromise national security for a cheap campaign stunt ...................
