    If you say so.

I believe in laws. I also believe in a JUSTICE system (which is not what the US has currently) and that Vigilanteeism is more than acceptable when the law does not or will not step in to make things right. If the JUSTICE system does not work, or does not exist, then the laws are worthless. What's the point in having a speed limit when nobody follows it and nobody ever gets truly punished for not following it? Laws without consequences are worthless.

Sounds like you would be happier living outside of society. Why are you still here?

Mostly because I have physical conditions that limit my ability to live outside of society. That is not to say that I am a member of mainstream society. I rarely go out to social events or places/events where there are large numbers of people. I keep a small, close-knit group of trusted friends and rarely deal with others.

So you are dependent on the society that you rail against? How ironic is that?

No. I'm reliant on the MEDICAL COMMUNITY. Unfortunately I am reliant on the availability of certain medications and emergency medical services due to complications of a birth defect I have. Thankfully this reliance is fairly minimal at the moment, but it could become considerable at almost any time.

I don't get any form of government assistance or anything like that. The moment I have to, I have 230 grains of copper jacketed medicine on my dresser to remedy the situation.

That is rich!!! Not your medical condition, I don't wish bad health on anyone, but the fact that you have no use for society but cannot live without it. The irony is sublime!

It's not society I can't live without. It's the medical community. In fact I go out of my way to avoid as much of modern society as I can.

The ones I've run into (in several MA and CT cities) have been the sort of people I generally classify one way.... prey animals. They're not the predator type. That's one of the things I find as disgusting about OWS as I do about the Tea Party.... none of them are actually willing to DO SOMETHING about what they believe in.
Mass protest is doing something about what they believe in. I don't agree with what they believe in, but I strongly believe in their right to say it.
I love the NSA. It's like having a secret fan-base you will never see, but they're there, watching everything you write and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that I may be some person's only form of unconstitutional entertainment one night.

How many of them do you really suppose have never been caught with anything much worse than pot? Marijuana is bad enough, but it's apparent, from looking at most of the Occutards, that a great many of them are very likely on much harder drugs than that.
The five great lies of the Left Wrong:
We can be Godless and free. • “Social justice” through forced redistribution of wealth. • Silencing religious opinions counts as “diversity”. • Freedom without moral and personal responsibility. • Civilization can survive the intentional undermining of the family.

Because they're a waste of time and energy which could be better used for other things.

No it's not. Standing around and shouting about something is not going to change anything. 10,000 polite Tea Partiers (the opposite side of the OWS coin) in DC last summer and nothing changed. 10,000 ARMED Tea Partiers in DC, doing something about the problem would likely have led to some changes.

    They seem to think otherwise.

No it's not. Standing around and shouting about something is not going to change anything.
You really saying that protest does nothing?
