Gov. Scott Walker death threats after recall victory being investigated by police

This is how liberals handle defeat at the polls, not to well.

The Milwaukee Police Department said Wednesday it's evaluating death threats made against Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker on Twitter following the governor's recall election victory.
Political tensions in Wisconsin came to a fever pitch Tuesday night as the election results were announced. Multiple death threats surfaced on Twitter throughout the evening and into the morning. They were posted on the curation site Twitchy.com.

I wonder how the number of death threats received by Walker compares with the number Obama gets in a month? By all of those Conservatives out there unhappy with him.

Barack Obama faces 30 death threats a day, stretching US Secret Service - Telegraph

I trust you were equally outraged by the death threats against the President? I missed your thread on that.

If you Google walker death threats guess what, the ONLY mainstream media outlet reporting it is FOX. ABC, NBC,CNN, CBS, zero zip nada. Maybe this thread should be moved to bias media forum.
The conspiracy theory forum would be more appropriate. Or the B.S forum

I did Google "walker death threats" and guess what -- your claim is false. Imagine that . . .

Among the links that came up on page 1 were the Huffington Post , TMJ4 (NBC television affiliate), the New York Daily News, WGBA-TV (NBC affiliate), and WISN TV (ABC affiliate).

And then there's this: Multiple law enforcement agencies investigating Walker death threats - Local News - Milwaukee, WI - msnbc.com

Look at the picture: Scott Walker, cross hairs. Apparently that equals death threat. When Palin did it, you all went to great lengths to say it wasn't, but now it is?

Doubling down on your dishonesty... I like it.

Do I really need to explain the difference? Or would you rather just admit your playing dumb to serve the political god that apparently rules you?

Yes, explain the difference. How is it a death threat when one side does it, and not when the other side does it?

Thing about google is that it reads your preferences by what you've looked at before, and bases your search results on that. I'm going to assume that sawyer reads Fox and or other right-leaning sites more often than he does HuffPo. Vice versa for you. So his results are going to show him Fox, and not HuffPo.

A lot of people don't realize that.

If the target is a Democrat, it's just good clean political fun. If the target is a Republican, it means the commie terrorist liberals are an imminent threat to the Republic. I thought you knew that.

Interesting, although I've visited the HuffPo site maybe 12 times in my life. 24 tops. Google also gave me page 1 hits on Fox, The Blaze (which is really insulting ;) ), Twitchy, and Breitbart.

Based upon your info, the internet far right must have some really serious tunnel vision. Explains a lot, however . . . .

Because one was targeting a congressional district for defeat in an upcoming an election, and the other was targeting a human being through the scope of a sniper rifle.

When you accompany that image with the death threats made against Scott Walker, that is highly inappropriate and is an implied threat of violence... While the targeting of a congressional district for an election, not accompanied by any threats of violence, does not in any way, shape, or form imply violent intent.

It's hilarious to watch you and other libs abandon common sense to serve your political gods.

Another one surfaces... Keep it up boys and girls... And be sure to encourage all your liberal friends to do the same.

The irony is strong with this post.

Shall I ad you to the list of dishonest libs.. Or will you take the bold step of putting honesty ahead of politics by admitting there is a huge difference between the two?

I know where I'd put my money if I were betting.

They were targeting a specific person for defeat in a recall election. If someone can prove that it was printed since Tuesday, that's different. If it was printed before Tuesday, in context it's targeting Walker to be defeated.

When you accompany the image from Palin's site with the actual attempt on Gabrielle Giffords' life....it seems pretty violent in retrospect.

Again, I think that piece of paper pictured came before Tuesday. Which would make it targeting Walker for defeat on Tuesday. It doesn't say "Kill Walker" it says "Repeal Walker."

It's hilarious to watch you and other libs abandon common sense to serve your political gods.

Ditto for cons. Oh wait, I forgot that you're a dispassionate objective observer :lamo

...but yeah...it's just FoxNews....nothing to see here, move right along...

Because it's retarded to report on crap that idiots on the internet say.

So we wait until someone shoots Walker like they did with Giffords?

If someone legitimately threatens the life of a Governor or the President, it's relatively simple to trace who those accounts belong to and charge them. Whether the threat is on the internet or live in person, it's still a threat and should be taken seriously. Hell, that could create a lot of jobs. Were this a liberal being threatened via twitter, I'm 99% positive NBC, CBS and the rest would be running the story over and over. Sure - the bias again. Still there. Regardless, people need to start taking responsibility for their idiocy. Just because it's on the internet does not excuse it.

Well it is honestly as bad if not worse. First off she is a politician not a slightly angered and/or even radical citizen. judging from this link here " Sarah Palin's "Crosshairs" Ad is Focus of Gabrielle Giffords Debate - ABC News " This came to seen as a death threat because this also happened in the wake of the attempted assassination of Gabrielle Giffords whose district was on this crosshairs map.

Not only that but Sarah Palin had made comments such as "Its time to make a stand", "Don't retreat. RELOAD" prior to the event.

Athough the Article puts him slightly with the left because of his mentioning of the book communism manifesto on his Myspace it fails to mention he also liked such political books as Animal Farm, Fahrenheit 451, Mein Kampf, and the Republic. Does this make him a Nazi because he liked Mein Kampf? I didn't think so.

Larger factors are Arizona's conservative gun laws and Loughner's mental instability, which would not be suprising if it was influenced by Sarah Palin's recently introduced crosshairs map.

Who exactly are our political gods nowadays?

We will when you do. Which will never happen.

You mean never NOT happen...

I'm not the one who is pretending that targeting a congressional district on a map for an upcoming election is "violent", nor am I the one who is pretending there isn't a difference that target, and one from a rifle scope targeting the head of an actual human being.
