Nice! Use an offshore call centre to blast the President on his 'failure' to produce more American jobs

Republican National Committee used Philippines firm to set up call blasting Obama on unemployment.

WASHINGTON--The Republican National Committee on Thursday stepped up its assault on President Barack Obama in advance of his campaign formal kick off Saturday in Ohio and Virginia--hitting him on "high unemployment" in the U.S. as the RNC used a firm located in the Philippines to set up the "messaging" call.
...
When I called in for the conference call, I asked where the operator I talked to was based and was told Manila. UPDATE The RNC used a Verizon conference calling system. END UPDATE

Shows he's spending his campaign money wisely, don't you think?:)

I can't get a spun up over this, but don't let me stop anyone else.

If we could just outsource our politicians we'd be on to something.

This US labor situation has been discussed before. The unions have forced us to move American jobs overseas. We might see some of those jobs come back when blue collar workers are willing to work for 40% less.

Nonsense. What a way to destroy an economy but it is part of the playbook for those on the right.

blue collar workers have not seen a real pay rise in over thirty years, yet industrial productivity has sky rocketed. American corporations show higher profits and hold more cash at this time than at any other time since WWII days.

Funny how the US economy was booming in the 50s and 60s when more than a third of workers belonged to unions and tax rates were much higher than they are today. Funny how the top 1% has shown a greater increase in income and personal wealth over the past twenty years than at any time since the 1920s, really 'funny' they are doing so well when the majority of Americans are not.

It was the multiple free-trade agreements and various provisions in the tax code which enabled American corporations to move their jobs overseas. Some small part of the blame might be laid on the unions but not much.

Maybe a few telemarketer type jobs would boost the economy a tad. :)

Well, since Obama has sent some of our tax money to create 'green' jobs overseas, it sort of makes sense, doesn't it?

I'm gonna bet Obama doing that didn't spin you up in the same manner though.

No, it came from observing reality. But it is noted your lack of response to the comparison.
