But there is where your theory about the executive controlling the economy breaks down, for the same time period, US unemployment levels improved at virtually the same rate as WI: -0.7%, -0.8%.

Chief Executive Magazine tells a different story. If it weren't for states like TX, Wisconsin, and others with Republican Governors the national rate wouldn't be where it is today.

Same advice, you need to contact the Bureau of Labor Statistics and tell them they got the numbers wrong. Interesting how BLS data is only credible when you agree with the data.

Now here is something I don't understand....So many people, particularly liberals, let Obama slide his first year in office because everything was "Bush's fault". And yet this same logic does not apply to Walker?

Aw, yes, my apology, you are absolutely correct, he was elected in the Republican landslide in November 2010 and took office in January 2011. Want to discuss his performance since January 2011? Is 6.8% unemployment higher or lower than the national average and what it was when he took office? Is his ranking for business climate higher or lower than it was when he took office? National average is 8.1% so 6.8% is lower than the average. Also if you take a look here the 6.8% is pretty average in Wisconsin since this recession started. In fact if you look back to 2010 there were an aweful lot of 7-8 percents in there compared to Walkers average of 6 percents.

Over all I think Walker has done just fine. The story in the OP is hyperbole imo.
