I am elitist in several ways. But that's neither here nor there. I took it from the horses mouth. Fascism is better described as the Corporate State, which is what we have; entanglement of the Corporate and State entities. And it's causing severe problems including the death of free market capitalism.

Over regulation by the government (in essence what is promoted and proliferated through Corporate Capitalism), certainly can and will kill the free market. Which is why proper regulation must be sought.

Corporatism is hardly the only component of fascism. For one, it's an authoritarian, nationalist state that shuns multiple party systems in favor of one dominant party. It's a bastard system of socialist principals, and capitalist pride. Fascism is primarily an oppressive nationalist doctrine, before anything else.

How about cutting government in half and abiding by the Constitution and limiting the government to the 18 enumerated powers provided for them and leaving the rest to the states.

So we have the Republocrats. K. Foreign wars not in our defense, OK. Aggressive legislation against its own people with propaganda names such as "Patriot Act" (to draw more nationalism), OK. Not really seeing where this is wrong.
