If there is one city I would not want to get people angry it is New York. I suspect the drivers will plow through anyway.

OWS needed to be called Occupy the Capital, because the real issue is the government feeding the corporations our money. THAT is what we should all be outraged about.

It is not just the government feeding them money. It is consumers. We make decision on who we give our money to. We choose not to give it to the small businesses then we bitch and moan when they can't stay in business. You and I make our choices and we have to live with our consequences. When you and 250 million other are all giving the majority of your/our money to only a few businesses the wealth disparity is going nowhere.

This is what I thought as well. Wall street IS a problem, but not even close to being the problem congress has been and currently is.

I have a prediction. This will not end well. Especially if OWS executes it well and manages to disrupt people trying to go about their every day lives.

No more or less cool than these wastes of flesh and oxygen going out of their way to make my life more complicated by forcing me to find another route to work would be. I'm sorry, but if you're blocking my way on a PUBLIC street (without a walk light to give you that right of way), I should have the right to run your ass over.

Then again Occupy Worcester has never actually had enough people to block a street so that's probably not on their agenda.

OWS has nothing to do with Communism. Also, you are incorrect that America was founded on equal opportunity. If that was so, why were there slaves?

The OWS group are not commies, they are people that want the government to stop rewarding companies that go overseas and don't produce the jobs they were given the tax breaks for in the first place.

I think maybe that's a bit hyperbole. Certainly the Dark Ages were a much greater fail by orders of magnitude. The Third Reich was fail too. The latter Crusades?

They could have made it better had they actually organized it properly, but they didn't and thus their message has been drowned out by antics of some of the members, through inability to express coherent ideals and plans, etc.

It has nothing to do with Communism. This is also a big problem in America. It seems like we're encouraging healthy doses of stupid. That needs to stop. The movement isn't about Communism and anyone with 1/4 of a functioning brain knows this. Dogs know this. There are certainly Communists within the movement, but the aggregate movement isn't promoting communism. It's time to put stupid arguments aside and perhaps actually address issues.
