Another oopsy-daisy from the Obama White House. There's a shocker.
I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

Sounds more like learned a lesson from the ranting about death panels than a true reconsideration. I live in rural SW Oklahoma, this didn't raise an eyebrow here. Guess the interweb ranters and produce growers lobbyists did some effective politicking. It is amazing what gets done and not done in the name of the family farm. (hats off please, agriculturalists passing by)

Yeah, damn white house listening to and taking into account the opinions of those affected. How horrible!

naw, more like in an election year the ranters, not unlike the ill-informed 'we the people' folks here took a non issue and blew it up into one.

"if I want my 13 year old daughter in a pen with 36 750 pound steer calves pushing and fighting to cut out one with a broke leg, well BY GAWD no unelected OH-fishal is gonna say she can't!"

nope cant say I heard a lot of that down at the COOP...

    just crap here online.

What have you heard down at your COOP?

For such an educated bunch, you'd think they would have thought about the affected BEFORE they put out an insipid policy.

They are smart, but they seem determined to consider the opponents as rational.

    Their bad...

But do tell, what was the opinions down at your COOP?

Actually, yes...I have but usually not daughter. Although it usually goes like this 'no unelected OH-fishal is gonna tell me how to raise my kids'. But really around here, the 13 year old already knows it is his/her job if need be to 'get it done'. Usually it is difficult to keep them out of the pen.

Is it common around your parts to be appreciative to the government for telling them how to raise their kids, CO-OP or wherever?
