hes really out of touch,thats why i think santorum has a better chance of winning.santorum carries the luggage of wearing his religion on his sleeve,romney will just give his etch n sketch a shake and hope everyone forgets.obama has been pretty quiet about bringing up romneys faults,an obvious sign he plans to attack romney a month before the election.

There is a difference between being rich and being Richie Rich. Romney really needs a new 'man of the people' coach.
 
Depends on when this audio was recorded.

If it was recorded fairly recently, given that jobs and such is a major concern for most Americans, I do find it in bad taste for Romney to talk about "humorous" and "layoffs" in the same story like that.

If this was recorded many years ago, then I just think it's just politics as usual.

There's a huge difference between being wealthy and being out of touch. The two are not necessarily related. In his case...it is.
