the witnesses' statement that he saw Martin hitting Zimmerman while Zimmerman was on his back, again contradicts this.

Come now, let's not be silly. A fight can be initiated from behind and still end up with one guy on his back in the grass, fights are dynamic and not static. The initial attack could have been a punch to the back of the head, followed by a struggle in which Z was toppled onto his back.

yes, and it could have also started face to face.

Could have. No one is admitting to seeing the start of the fight except Zimmerman. This poses some difficulties to the prosecution.

and yet, some folks are stating with authority, that "Martin attacked Zimmerman from behind.".

The "evidence" you repeatedly cite is a self serving statement from somebody who is desperately trying to avoid murder charges. His statements - as such - should not be taken as unchallengable evidence - but merely as his own self serving version of things intended to save his own skin.

The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

I am not one of those persons. All I'm saying is that, absent contradictory evidence, it is going to be hard to get past "Reasonable doubt".

Do you have some authority to back this statement up. If not, it is simply untrue.

Re: Geraldo Rivera: Trayvon Martin's 'Hoodie Is As Much Responsible As Shooter

A 17 year old black kid gets killed under questionable circumstances and the media goes nuts, Sharpton and Jackson make speeches blacks march in the streets, libs immediately convict his killer and President Obama comments that if he had a son he would look like the deceased kid. Contrast that to a recent killing in Spokane Washington where a 70 year old white man was beaten to death by an 18 year old black kid. No national media attention whatsoever, no marches in the street by whites, and no president Obama saying it could of been his dad. Just something to think about.

Man beaten while breaking up party dies

    March 16, 2012

The Spokane veteran’s hospital community is grieving for a beloved employee who died after being assaulted while trying to break up an underage party.

Frank James Motta, a retired high school principal, teacher and football coach, began volunteering at the Spokane Veterans Affairs Medical Center in 2009 and was hired as a patient’s advocate four months ago. His wife, Virginia, and daughter, Jami, also volunteer there.

Motta was attacked by a partygoer while trying to break up a large gathering at his neighbor’s house. The neighor was out of town and had asked Motta to clear out the party, thrown by her teenage son. Motta died Thursday night at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, friends confirmed.

AND you will notice the news article never even mentions the kid was black. I only know because I have seen his pic on the news.

such a statement is only possible, if you never read nor watch the news.
