Society. SOCIETY! Give it to SOCIETY.
A man who does no labor and expects reward is not society. I specifically said that the money would be put into the everyday American's wage.
Receiving money "from the government for simply existing ( not trading labor or value for it)" is precisely what we DON'T call a wage.
When you talk about the Republican candidates, you have to say "Mitt or Newt," else you'll have to say "Neuter Mitt."

They receive wages, yes. Does that mean that they make enough for a living? No.

    Then perhaps they should ....

    1. Stick to a strict budget of only the essential items. Many people who can't pay their electricity bill weirdly have the money to spend on lottery tickets, internet access and going out to eat every weekend.
    2. Get another job or a better-paying job.

If they truly ARE poor and really can't make ends meet at all (even after trying those two things), then there are numerous private charities and churches that will help them. People in America don't need to be forced to help people who are truly in need. We do it voluntarily at an overwhelming rate.

It hurts getting one's degree or having a decent GPA, however. Which then impacts other areas of future employment.

So, I'll suggest it is quite ironic.

    1. For one, my thermostat is set at 65*F right now.
    2. Getting a new job isn't exactly something that can be done overnight, genius.
    3. For the last time. I SAID SOCIETY!

I have no desire to bring down capitalism, and neither do a majority of the OWS protesters.

Most of the 99% just want a fair chance at working towards success that was provided in this country for the decades of the strongest middle class in history before financial deregulation and supply side economics.

Does it bother you that the many Occupy leaders do want to bring down capitalism?
