Catawba, it's very heartening to see that you use the same level headed, fair minded, honest and forthright attitude that you have in regards to stereotypes, misinformation, insults, and demonizations of the tea party is the same as you provide for OWS.

As I said six months ago..... Give me 30 National Guardsman and I can fix this problem with two words.... "FIX BAYONETTS!!!!" These losers don't have the stomach to truly bleed for their cause. Show them a couple of bloody heads and they'll be gone like yesterday's newspapers.

I lived in Maine for a couple of years and heating oil is expensive as hell. It's tied to gas prices like anything else oil based.

Until the OWS movement starts practicing what they preach then I will have no respect for them as a whole. They protest big business and yet continue to support big business. When OWS comes together and actively boycotts McDonald's, Wal-Mart, Nike, Wells Fargo, and other major corporations then they will seem legit. I went to a couple OWS movements and there were walmart bags everywhere. Big Macs galore. Nike swooshes as far as the eye could see.......these businesses could care less about what your sign says as long as you keep funneling money to them. OWS wants to make a difference they could. But all they care about is headlines.

Re: Occupy 6-Month Anniversary Protest Ends With Zuccotti Park Arrests

IF the Occupy movement starts back up into a decent swing it'll be interesting to see how a few things go....

    1. Will the intensity burn in a similar fashion? During it's height, when people were comparing OWS to the TP, I stated that OWS was like a sprint while the Tea Party was more like a marathon, both having its political purposes but both having very different strategies. Can OWS manage to get that blistering bit of short lived activity going again like it did the last time out, or will it be a bit less of a major event?

    2. Will the general publics interest be as big. Whether it was positive or negative interest, it didn't change that the movement got a TON of media attention and eyes on by general onlookers. It crossed over into being a pop culture type of thing, similar to what happened with the TP movement and even the election of Barack Obama. It went beyond a simple political movement. However, this second time around, will the public's interest in the happenings be as great as before?

    3. Will the reactions to it continue the path that it was heading last time around, start anew, or move ot even more negative. Towards the end of its height the general mentality towards OWS seemed to be drifting negative. Time away however can potentially right the course. The question is, if it returns, does it start out with a positive outsider view and if it does do those positive views dip quicker this time out due to over satuation?

    4. Can the movement put together a more easily to grasp and definable message that hte general public can consume? If so, it could potentially be a boon for democrats as election season nears. If not, then it could actually potentially produce a drag on them I think.

    5. With the election getting closer, does the Tea Party continue its general trend of picking up the pace of its marathon run during such time periods, and if so how do the two movements operating at a similar time co-exist. How doe sthe media coverage differ and relate in regards to the ocverage of both.

Over all it should be another interesting storyline interjected into this election season.

OWS, some of their grievances, some of their de-facto goals, and their violence, is bad for Obama.

Good job Glenn Beck. How long did it take you to figure that one out.

It seems a bit odd that you would use a well known symbol of authoritarian Communism as your signature.
A red star is also a symbol for Communism both used at the same time cannot be mistaken as socialism. Its basic knowledge.
Your on a roll. Add a red flag with a swastika and you get NAZI!
The Red star is a symbol of unity. Five points represent the fist.

Now where does this leave us?
    You tell me Glenn...

First you try to tell us that the occupy movement is not Leftist even though everyone can observe for themselves the overwhelming obvious fact that everything done by the occupiers is Leftist.
Sure its majority figured of "leftists". But there are right wing people in the movement as well.

Then you try to deny the basic Leftist symbolism on an official occupy movement propaganda poster.
    A fist?

ANd try to deny that a hammer and sickle is Communist symbolism.
    Sure commis use it...

Do you really think that people are that stupid?
    No but your a little

I amean yes I know that Leftists think that the American public is stupid but damn Bubba could figure this out drunk.
Man you must of took the red pill didnt you? Your deep in the rabbit hole now...
