Republicans Rapping at CPAC conference - OMG, the silly meter just pegged

    1) Watch what happens at 1:54 in the video.

    2) This video is proof of why old white men look asinine when they try to rap. Of course, I hate rap, and believe that black people look asinine when they do it, but white people rapping looks orders of magnitude more asinine. See for yourself. LOL.

    3) White people simulating the phrase "my niggers", with something that rhymes with it, at a political event is not hip. It is silly.

    4) They actually say "knickers", not "niggers", but the play on words, and the little act of fake controversy that follows it, is silly as hell. Did they really believe that they were going to win over the votes of Flavor Flave and 50 Cent with that stunt? LMAO.

I'll admit it. I laughed. Only because it proves that with some extremely notable exceptions white people can't dance.

Yao Ming never really needed to jump. But I'm sure Jeremy Lin has some black in him.

This makes me thank God that I was not born a conservative. Did anyone in the room actually think this was anything other than noise? Given that most people in the Arts are Dems, I guess the Cons don't have much entertainment talent to draw upon. A bouncing Rush from years back was far more entertaining.

or, if you insist on the rap version given that Cons seem to think bad white rap is hip.....

Of course not. Though I could respond obnoxiously by saying that intelligence is inherited, I won't..... I was merely having fun with the notion of how one comes to a particular world view.

Considering the relative lack of enthusiasm (save for the arms in the air for a few seconds), I would suggest it was not all that demonstrative of conservatism so much as lameness.

Just think about some of the themes in Iced Earth tunes, and how well it could be matched for the so-called Constitution-wearing Tea Partiers.

It works, and it works well. As for rap, well, who knows (indeed mostly doubtful that audience likes it that much). Yet, awesomeness can prevail.
