Maybe more parents should shoot tv's, game consoles and laptops with hollow points because the crap being done today as punishment (i.e. time outs, groundings, etc) sure doesn't seem to be working very well.
And.. Maybe some parents need to stop beating the crap out of their kids, sexually abusing them, using public humiliation as a form of punishment, etc. The list can go on and on. It is pretty clear that a lot of parents are a failure and a lot of times these big bad bullies are getting beat and raped at home by their own parents

Bus Drivers fault for not stopping it.
My bus route goes through the ghetto. Anything starts happening the driver pulls over and sorts it out before fists and shanks come out.
EX. First few days of school a brawl broke out in the back of the bus between some "gangstas". He went back there and PHYSICALLY broke it up.

    Always gotta blame inanimate objects.

Why not put the blame where it actually belongs? Like the parents and the people in the government that has basically put a strangle hold on a parents ability to properly raise thier child. And on Dr. Phil. That is one person that I would love to go back in time and shoot in the head the second they were born. His ideals on how to raise children is a big part of the reason that parents are no longer able to manage thier children.

What I find funny is the fact that there are a million and one books on how to raise a child. And not one is applicable to every single child in one town...much less the whole world.

Youth Violence Project - Survey Hoax

Facts: The rate of violent crimes in U.S. public schools has declined since 1994 (Defoe et al., 2002). The serious violent crime rate (total number of murders, aggravated assaults, robberies, and rapes per 100,000 students) in 2001 was less than half what it was in 1994.

    Fast Facts

Between 1995 and 2007, the percentage of students who feared attack or harm at school decreased from 12 to 5 percent. Between the two most recent survey years, 2005 and 2007, the percentage of students who feared attack or harm at school decreased from 6 percent to 5 percent. Away from school, there was no pattern of increase or decrease in the percentage of students who feared attack or harm between 1999 and 2007. However, the percentage of students who feared attack or harm away from school was smaller in 2007 (3 percent) than in 2005 (5 percent).

It's a sad story but the Bus Driver shouldn't be held fully accountable. His job is stressful enough without having to babysit 75 kids.

If anyone should be blamed it should be the parents for raising such barbaric children.

I am to the point where I believe that private schools funded by vouchers are the only way. If your kid ****s up enough and gets the boot, adios. That means my children have the opportunity to attend schools where learning might actually take place. Base enrollment on continued favorable behavior, that is equality.
The problem with that "adios" is that the kid doesn't just then vanish away. He's burglarizing your garage.
There are no one-liner solutions unfortunately. If we give parents and schools lots of power, next thing we know is parents and schools are beating kids. If we don't, then they have no control. The government tells parents all the things they can't do, then everyone blames the parents. Whichever you go, people bitch about the inevitable excesses.

Uhhh, I guess I have this bizarre notion that who you blame is the criminal teens and kids. They should be given a harsh experience of what being locked in a cell is like and then given the choice of walking to and from school from now on - or if refusing spending the day in solitary - no TV, not radio - their choice.

I'm sick of hearing "blame the parents!" to give the little brats a pass. Depending on the jurisdiction, the government actually gives parents very little authority now before it becomes criminal assault, criminal abuse etc. - basically allowing parents the only choice of telling the kid "go to your room" - as if that is punishment - and hoping the kid does it. Government does not allow the parental fear factor anymore IF it should to be necessary.

Actually, while absolutely that happens, I also think a problem is parents who just dont' give a damn and gave up on being a parent long ago. So instead they just try to cajole the kid until hopefully she/he leaves home.

However, both kids and adults getting into fights is as old as humanity itself.

Ocala Florida is a very messed up area of highly conflicting personalities and relative affluence becoming extreme levels of foreclosures and business closings. Its old KKK territory intermixed with Snowbird Yankee retirees and overwhelmingly white. Alot of different things are clashing into each other from all different directions there.

If you are looking for a great house at a low price and really dislike cold weather, its a good potential. Only save enough in your budget to buy burglar bars for the windows. A pet pitbull a good idea too.
