Alright, #1 and #3 would be enough to allow for abortion if it were going to save the mother's life. Otherwise, why don't they put a #5 in there for siamese twins? Sometimes, you have to separate them or both will die. So the doctor picks the strongest one. It's sad, but it happens. I don't see how that's any different from our hypothetical abortion case here.

    Now look at this...

    (4) Abortion is not permitted unless, in the opinion of a trained health professional, there is a need for emergency treatment, or the life or health of the mother is in danger, or if permitted by any other written law.

So not only is it allowed when the life of the mother is in danger, but now also any case where a trained health professional (not even a doctor, could be just any nurse) sees the need for "emergency treatment" which is a vague term that can be bent any way a good lawyer wants to bend it.

If that weren't enough, you also have the last bolded part, which allows for any law to be written in the future that explicitly allows other types of abortion, and sets no boundaries on it.

So that's what I mean by jamming their foot in the door.
1-3 does not grant the right for a woman to have an abortion if medically necessary, it just doesn't, and you can't pretend that it does. The 4th bullet does, plain and simple. And the last little section of that is kind of redundant, because new laws can be passed all the time.

It doesn't prohibit it. That's all that's necessary.

To use an analogy, 1-3 don't grant a Kenyan the right to own property either. That doesn't mean they can't do it.

It does all those other things I said as well.

ANY trained health professional (doesn't matter HOW trained, it could be a mail in GED course) sees the need for "emergency treatment" (whatever that means)... boom, the abortion is legal.

ANY law can be written in the future that allows other types of abortion. So all they need to do is elect one liberal government, and it's free abortions for all Kenyans.

I see no reason why a Kenyan citizen should not be concerned about the Constitutional Laws in his country of birth.

Yeah like aide to Pakistan, Israel and loads of other countries, not to mention military interventionist policies. How does aids to any of those countries affect "life in the United States or protection of US citizens in that foreign area" before the US started the wars?

    No, it's bullcrap.

And people like you fall for it.

Find a real news agency that can back that story up.

It's all about hate Obama this year. Every wingnut and conspiracy theory birther a-hole is going to come out of the woodwork.

Meh it seems like even in Europe News Corp. can find a way around those laws.

He's perfectly free to spend his own money in such a manner, if he wishes.

It is entirely inappropriate for him to be spending taxpayer money in such a manner.

We can be Godless and free. • “Social justice” through forced redistribution of wealth. • Silencing religious opinions counts as “diversity”. • Freedom without moral and personal responsibility. • Civilization can survive the intentional undermining of the family.

I think the Catholic church has more pressing problems than Obama.... Namely priests who like to have sex with little boys.
