Meet John Fleming, the unfortunate Republican U.S. Representative from Louisiana who made that wonderful and all-too-common mistake of thinking that an Onion article was real and telling his Facebook followers to read it. Fleming's Facebook status was posted by Literally Unbelievable, a Tumblr that collects images of Facebookers who think Onion satires are the real deal and post them on their walls.

No, there is no huge abortionplex being built by Planned Parenthood. It's just the Onion doing what the Onion does so well - political satire.

'Ya know, normally I would make some smart-ass quip about how Representative Fleming was home schooled. But guess what? I got punked myself by the Onion a couple of years ago. Still, I am not a Congressman either, who is doing the nation's business.

Just one question - How the hell did this idiot get elected? LOL.

Article is here.

Well, he is from Louisiana. This is a state that gave the world Huey Long and re-elected the hooker Senator. These folks obviously aren't the brightest bulbs in the chandelier.

Yea, that makes sense. Jefferson, the freezer money man, is from there too. LOL.
