Re: Marianne Gingrich has said she could end her ex-husband's career with a single in
Seek help.
Seek help.
What exactly was he running for in 1999?Gingrich made a speech bashing liberals about "family values" the day after he told Marriane he was dumping her. She mentions the incident in her interview.
Marianne Gingrich, Newt’s ex-wife, says he wanted ‘open marriage’ - The Washington Post
OxyTubby said:I got a great note from a friend of mine. "So Newt wanted an open marriage. BFD. At least he asked his wife for permission instead of cheating on her. That's a mark of character, in my book. Newt's a victim.
There were two parts to the request from what I read...an open marriage or a divorce. Sounds to me like they didnt have much of a marriage and they both knew it.wow have the family values side of the GOP crumbled.

Drudge Screwed Up ABC's Plans for the Marianne Gingrich Interview - The Rush Limbaugh Show
For the record Rush, Newt only asked for an open marriage after his affair was exposed.

Like I said...he aint no saint...I dont think anyone thought he was. his history of marital infidelity is pretty well known. Has he ever denied it? Or more importantly, lied under oath about it?
I will say this...anyone that has an affair and then marries the person that he had the affair WITH is foolish. How do you start a relationship on "yeah...I know he ****ed around on her...with me...but he wouldnt do that TO me..."?

Gingrich already answered the questions. Yet liberals continue to harp on obtuse stupidity.
And he's campaigning for the Republican nomination - against other Republicans. Yet it's all the liberals' fault, as usual.
Whenever you criticize them using their own values, they spit on their own values rather than admit fault. It's really quite pathetic.
Meh...tempest in a teapot. She just aired her dirty laundry thinking she could make a guy that everyone knows is an adulterer an adulterer. Me...Im kind of a mean prick when it comes to stuff like that, so I might put out a statement like "I really feel bad about cheating on her but ****ing her was like what I would imagine ****ing a dead fish feels like and living with her was like 24/7 nails on a chalkboard. I'm sure I'm no picnic to live with either either. Its no excuse...I should have been a better man...I wasnt. I'm truly sorry for the pain I have caused her. Now...about foreign policy..."I believe we are seeing, once again, that "Hell hath no fury like the wrath ................ "
And another liberal hypocrisy feeding frenzy
I suggest you ask your parents, or your minister, or someone whom you look to for ethical guidance. "Not difficult questions", as you say. But what is troubling is that you feel a need to ask them, and I believe any of those recommendations may help you better with that.
Best of luck.
Rightwingres don't have an honest bone in their body
I dont care that its talked about...I think thats my point. Just once i would love to see a politician stand up and SAY...loud and proud...yes...I did that. Not my brightest moment. If you are looking for a saint...by all means...dont vote for me...cuz...daaaaaamn..."He's running NOW. His record matters, NOW.
So it's fair game to talk about. Fine. Not all his supporters are aware of it either.
es, there's a good story in the New Yorker magazine where the reporter asks Callista's mother about that (but not Callista, unfortunately).
Can you show any of us where Clinton, the candidate, acknowledged his earlier transgressions ? Asked for forgiveness while a candidate ? Made any affirmation that he had sought redemption, and changed his ways, while as a candidate ?
What I see is that after '92, Clinton was still thinking with his little head.

Yes, most rightwingers are bigots, in addition to being dishonest

Gingrich has already answered what questions? The ones misterman asked?
On what planet?
On this planet, you're still dodging the questions. That pretty says everything about the honesty of your posts.
(Hint: Being coherent helps)
More dodging.
Only a rightwinger could be so dishonest that they're scared to say that it's wrong to lie
And now they do. Clinton is still a beloved character. Kennedy is considered by many to be a saint. Marital infidelity is IMPORTANT as a personal characteristic...just not that big a deal I think in regard to most people in their politicians. Now...I would COMPLETELY AGREE with people if he has been saying 'I believe in the sanctity of marriage!" during this election that he is a hypocrite. And I will also admit...I dont follow the GOP debates all that much. I dont really care...not going to vote for one of them. So maybe he has been campaigning on family values...I just havent seen it. Frankly, unless Gingrich were to come out, look into the cameras, and deny it...I dont think many of the voters are going to care one way or the other. Conservative voters really arent that different than liberal voters.Believe it or not, not everyone knows, even today. This week's New Yorker has a story about him describing Gingrich supporters in SC who had no idea.
Seeing as I have seen no one defend either practice in this thread, it may just be the two of you kind of like Beevis and Butthead though.
Your posts are so dishonest that you can't even say that you think it's wrong to lie
Maybe that's why you ignore the fact that Bill and Hillary gave an interview (known as the "Stand by your man" interview) where Bill did exactly what you say he didn't
I think maybe he means this one...Was Hillary wearing a cigar in that one ? Can you show me the passage then where Bill says that he has had affairs ?
I posted a link to Rush Limbaugh defending it, even calling Newt the victim.
