    Thanks in advance.
Maybe you can simply state that adultery is bad, as well as lying, since you were asked first. Why wouldn't you answer these questions? What are you afraid of?

The libs are so upset that they cannot have a free-ride with their double standard.

a Parody of Limbaugh? that was Limbaugh, not a parody at all.

He thinks Newt is honorable because after he was caught cheating, he asked for an open marriage.

those are the facts, they make Rush look like an idiot....again

Did you post this message every about Clinton, the serial adulterer?

I have always stated and posted I don't care about a candidate's private life provided its not criminal activity.
If he offered her a rather common alternative of "open" marriage rather than divorce, so what? If everyone who has been divorced or had an affair (caught or not) were made inelible for public office it would be a majority of Americans.
I also think what his ex-wife is doing is sleazy in general. If she had a story to tell, she should have told it to the extent anyone cares. I also see a problem with exs deciding to expose marital secret discussions between them. I suspect 90%+ people who have been divorced would claim their ex spread all sorts of exaggerations and accusations against them too.

Actually, that she is doing this is a strong indicator that he had good reasons to find someone else - who he did then marry.

Since he offered his wife an "open" marriage option to divorce, did admit the affair and then did marry his mistress puts him well ahead of Clinton, to the extent that matters - and it doesn't.

I don't care for Gingrich for many reasons, but there is nothing his ex-wife could say that I'll give a damn about or any legitimacy too. Back then I openly didn't care about who Clinton had sex with either.

Maybe that's why you ignore the fact that Bill and Hillary gave an interview (known as the "Stand by your man" interview) where Bill did exactly what you say he didn't
I assume you are referring to this interview: Washingtonpost.com Special Report: Clinton Accused

If you are, Clinton never admitted to an affair. In fact he claimed Flowers was merely an aquaintence and said her accusations were false.

Kroft: How do you know her? How would you describe your relationship?

Bill Clinton: Very limited, but until this, you know, friendly but limited . . . .

Kroft: Was she a friend, an acquaintance? Does your wife know her?

    Hillary Clinton: Oh, sure.

Bill Clinton: Yes. She was an acquaintance, I would say a friendly acquaintance . . . .

Kroft: She is alleging and has described in some detail in the supermarket tabloid what she calls a 12-year affair with you.

Bill Clinton: That allegation is false.
But he refused to explicitly deny ever having an affair. He only admited to"wrongdoing" and "causing pain" in his marriage.

Kroft: You've been saying all week that you've got to put this issue behind you. Are you prepared tonight to say that you've never had an extramarital affair?

Bill Clinton: I'm not prepared tonight to say that any married couple should ever discuss that with anyone but themselves. I'm not prepared to say that about anybody. I think that the . . . .

Kroft: . . . That's what you've been saying essentially for the last couple of months.

Bill Clinton: . . . You go back and listen to what I've said. You know, I have acknowledged wrongdoing. I have acknowledged causing pain in my marriage. I have said things to you tonight and to the American people from the beginning that no American politician ever has.

I think most Americans who are watching this tonight, they'll know what we're saying; they'll get it, and they'll feel that we have been more candid. And I think what the press has to decide is: Are we going to engage in a game of "gotcha"? . . . I can remember a time when a divorced person couldn't run for president, and that time, thank goodness, has passed. Nobody's prejudiced against anybody because they're divorced. Are we going to take the reverse position now that if people have problems in their marriage and there are things in their past which they don't want to discuss which are painful to them, that they can't run?

Kroft: You're trying to put this issue behind you, and the problem with the answer is it's not a denial. And people are sitting out there -- voters and they're saying, "Look, it's really pretty simple. If he's never had an extramarital affair, why doesn't {he} say so?"

Bill Clinton: That may be what they're saying. You know what I think they're saying? I think they're saying, "Here's a guy who's leveling with us." . . . I've told the American {people} more than any other candidate for president. The result of that has been everybody going to my state and spending more time trying to play "gotcha."
The strange thing is, I had honestly thought Clinton had admitted to the affair in this interview. I looked it up to refute the post you quoted by Eighty Duece, but when I read the interview it clearly I was wrong and Clinton was not nearly as forthcoming about his past indiscretions as I thought he was.

LOL ... Rush was parodying Democrats. It was quite hilarious. His point was that being as Newt had been an adulterer, perhaps he was now more appealing, more credible as a candidate, to Democrats, than he had been before.

Frankly, it was a riot Thanks for the link. Sorry it did not play as you thought though

Yet it you on the right that dismiss Newts adultry, but criticized Clinton's. Talk about double standard. And for the record, I could care less about a poltiticians adultry, that is between them and their spouse.
