There were several twisters in the Houston area yesterday. Where I work was hit with high winds that damaged the roof of the building, and we had water pouring through the ceiling. They still don't know if that was a tornado, but it was pretty scary. We all went underneath our desks when the lights went out, just before it hit. Before we had lost power, I was running GRLevel 3, a weather radar program, and could see a hook echo right on top of us. That is when I ordered everybody under their desks, right after we lost power.
But that is not the strange part of what I am posting about. A tornado that touched down in west Houston severely damaged several homes. One of those homes had the roof ripped off, and most of the inside destroyed. Amidst all of the debris inside the home was the breakfast of the home's owner, a plate of eggs and bacon, toast, and a glass of orange juice, sitting on the dining room table, all untouched. While the news crew was there, the homeowner noticed the untouched breakfast, and proceeded to eat it while doing the interview. Even mother nature does not dare to mess with a man's bacon. LOL.
