Actually, it's what is wrong with corporate advertising entities in this country. I don't see it stopping, unfortunately. Frankly, I think the ads featuring the model Twiggy started the trend of everyone having to be uber skinny. Before that, even with Playboy, women were portrayed in a far more realistic fashion.

The thing is, Kelly Clarkson is really not that fat. She's about average sized. People tend to forget what real women look like.

Not to mention that most of them are also considerably more overweight than the people they are criticizing and they complain that attractive women don't want to date "nice guys" like them.

Dude, I'm not into waddlers, but I like women with meat on their bones. Fifteen to twenty pounds works for me. Rubenesque works for me almost every time. Women who are thin are great as well. It depends on the woman and how she feels about herself. Self-confident women are sexy. Intelligent women knock me out!

Here's a truism you might want to consider: Age happens. If you are fortunate you will experience an aging body. It is inevitable. When and were it happens is a matter of genetics. You obviously have no idea how enchanting women over 30 or 40 or 50 can be.

I have never liked implanted, botoxed, collagenized women. It isn't natural! A lady in her 40s, with natural curves, is really a subject of beauty. You obviously have no idea.

The celebrity world is not real. Playboy is not real. Worship of any of that is idiocy. True beauty lasts forever.

Ehhh... keep in mind what we consider to be normal in our social settings is just as warped as what we consider to be normal in advertising. Americans are mostly overweight, and we have a perception of that being normal in the context of our day-to-day lives.

I think it's pretty likely Kelly Clarkson would be classified as overweight. Body types vary, and depending on her build and a bunch of other factors she may not be... but I think that's unlikely.

Is that a reason to judge her? Does that make it any less totally stupid for someone to even bring it up? No, and no. But it's still true.

I agree she really is not THAT fat, but she is fat.
I also said that physically i dont find her THAT UNattractive, she has attractive physical qualities and I wouldnt kick her out of bed, physically

BUT I could NEVER call her in shape or skinny or even avg, she may be avg if you take in account every women over 18 but I say for 30 and below she definitely is not.

Also I know very well what real women look like, those are the ones i have to date lol

Not judging by that picture. She looks healthy to me. A little softer than I like, but my tastes are admittedly abnormal.

Of course, what I'm responding to is the absurd and misogynistic notion that she's too fat to be attractive and that's why she's losing fans.

I think she lost them because she got fat.
Not everybody is so shallow that it matters to them what a person looks like. Sheesh, some of the best entertainers in the world are overweight. BB King, Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin. I could go on and on. I'm glad that I'm not that shallow. I'd miss alot of good music.

Politics is one thing. If someone wants to talk about their political beliefs, that's fine, so long as you can handle the backlash. But it's stupid and shallow and superficial to dislike someone's music because of how they look. Glad alot of people don't feel the same way you do, or Adele wouldn't have spent 9 consecutive weeks in the number 1 album spot.

Average sized doesn't mean not fat, unfortunately.

Never said women had to be super skinny to be attractive.

Definitely too fat to be attractive to me. I wouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole. Gross.
