Are Washington lawmakers getting rich with insider trading? Business Insider's Henry Blodget on how big the problem is – American Morning - CNN.com Blogs
The idea is, many in DC use their political clout to get rich. It's a documented fact that there are a GREAT many folks who go into "public service" only slightly rich, and come out FILTHY rich. There seems to be NUMEROUS cases of elected officials using their office to make a profit, from purchasing land, then passing legislation guarenteeing an increase in value of said land, and selling, to outright insider trading in the stock market, to giving out privileged info to OTHERS who want in on the inside loop on what's shaking in DC to make a profit in the stock market. This appears to be what I HAVE to call a pandemic, on BOTH sides of the aisle. Thoughts?
