Wow, thanks for the insanity lesson. Are you serious? Posters on this thread have taken the position that calling Obama's children "monkeys" in the same sentence in which the same guy called him the N word and called for him to be assassinated could be construed as something other than racist? And you have the temerity to suggest my logic is ignorant?

Pass me whatever it is you're smoking please. That's some good **** right there.

No, he really does it. At the point in which he suggested that people were "deflecting", specifically accusing VanceMack of it, there was only one person saying that it MIGHT not be racist (and acknowledge that it could be) and that was PRIOR to it being pointed out that the guy also stated "nigger" in the same sentence.

Since the point that the "nigger" comment only one person has made the accusation it wasn't racist, and even that person has backed off that. Even still, he's been getting shredded by people on both side of the aisle for trying to turn this into a "its just like Bush and a monkey" thing.

Not to mention, at the time of my post actually being here there was no one in the thread defending what the guy stated, and only one person who stated that it MIGHT not be racist and that was prior to the "nigger" comment being made clearly known.

Last of all, it doesn't take into account that his reply was to vancemack stating, after liblady made it a point to type in big bold letters every political affiliation the guy had as if it was relevant to the story, that its ridiculous to attack an entire giant group of people based on the actions of a few nutjobs. That was apparently "deflecting and defending" according to Top Hat what the guy said, which is ridiculous. It was simply pointing out that as stupid as this guy was, attempting to smear tens of thousands of people based on his singular actions is ALSO ridiculously stupid. Commenting on the actions and statements people place within their own post is not "deflecting", its addressing their statements.

    Wonderful...

All people against the Iraq war want George Bush murdered, and all occupy wall street people are all anti-semetic rapists....its obvious if you just read between the lines. And if you're an extreme partisan hack. If you read between the lines AND are an extreme partisan hack, it's quite obvious.

My position has always been that the Tea Party comes out with these far-fetched baseless hyper-partisan attacks on the first Black President. What's behind that? I have to guess and read between the lines. What motivates people to come out so viciously against this president, since day one?

Then when people who identify as members of the Tea Party make racist statement or bring racist signs to the rallies, I factor that in as well.

Redress: Has anything I've said, in clarifying where I'm coming from, unfair?

**There has been a measurable backlash against this President that started before he even took the oath.** I am curious about the motivation behind it.

**There have been racist sings at TP rallies**

**What this guy said is racist, he identifies as TP**

Do you not question the extreme partisanship coming from the far-right? When their base can't even articulate his policies, any LOGICAL person has to ask--then what is it?

FACT: Their Platform is all over the place. The only constant is 'get rid of Obama'.

Hazlnut, you are seeing what you want to see, just like some are seeing OWS as a bunch of criminals. You are doing the exact same thing.

I personally agree with you. I just think it's a waste of time to debate it or even mention it. You can't "prove" it.

I made an effort to clarify my position, give you an honest answer and asked you if what I'm saying is unfair.

I think I'm owed an honest effort on your part.

What an absurd crock of feces!

Good Lord. I can only imagine that heaven and earth must have to move before you'll admit you were wrong.

The following is in the OP's quotation.

In a comment on the Facebook post, Manson added: "Assassinate the [president] and his monkey children." He used an obscenity followed by a racial epithet to describe the president

Really? You're going to defend them even though that was on the original quote? Really?

At the very least you should be suggesting that people read the post before making an ass of themselves.
