Recall Walker Signatures Pass 500,000 Mark

LOL!

I did in my post. You go find a public sector union official and ask them my posted question.

Hell, you could answer that question for yourself. Would you be willing to give up automatic state deduction and paying of union dues for the right of public sector unions to exist?

You really are fun.
ever get around to posting that evidence?? thought not

What is shows is that democracy can be hijacked by a 14% well-organized and funded minority. What it shows is that apathy among voters costs us dearly. There's nothing majestic about this movement. It is a sad testimony to the power of $$ and impotence of the American taxpayer.

What it will show after the recall vote is whether or not those who elected Walker to office feel that he did not or did campaign on an honest platform. If tyhe decision is that he campaigned honestly he will remain in office if not he will be removed.

PolitiFact Wisconsin | Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker says he campaigned on his budget repair plan, including curtailing collective bargaining

Politicians normally tell people what they want to hear and then do what they want to/can do, if nothing else this will serve as a warning to them that people are ready to take action

You're like a little girl. Daddy has to all your work for ya. Geeish.

I would greatly appreciate it if we could keen the debate above the personal and name calling.

I will await your actual verifiable evidence to support your claims.

OK, name for me one state that has viable public sector unions and the state does not automatically deduct union dues from the employee's pay then transfer it to the unions. One state will do.

Go!

Could you please explain the point of asking this question? I fail to see the relevance of it or the importance of it to the issues being discussed.

What the bill shows is that Walker ran for office and did not tell the people what he intended to do with union collective bargaining rights, unfortunately this is part of an effort by the Koch Bros controlled tea party to control the middle class by attacking union collective bargaining rights.Walker lied by omission and is being properly dealt with by the voters

I do believe though that he did run with the promise of cutting spending and fixing the debt.

Now show me one politician that says exactly how they are going to do what they say they are going to do.

Unions, especially public sector unions, are very useful tools with which to throw out those who would be dictators. A case in point is Governor Walker's overreaching by busting down the unions, something which he said absolutely nothing about when he was running for governor.

Prove this. Nothing in Walkers bill busted Unions. None of it stopped unions from forming or petitioning the government.

Are you really taking the honest position that Walker and his new bills did not negatively impact the unions?

Everything negatively or positively affects everything else. But busting unions and negatively affecting unions are two different animals. Or are you just trying to move the goalposts?

The voters of Wisconsin will position the goal posts

Actually I was only asking a question. I never set up any goalposts in the first place.

Again, name me one single politician that states exactly how they are going to accomplish something when they are running for election.

I distinctly remember protesting at a rally at Cobo Hall in Detroit in 1968 when candidate George Wallace told the crowd if any demonstrator dared to lay down in front of his car, it would be the last car they ever laid down in front of.

That was pretty specific.

Okay, hyperbolic ranters..."Union Busting" -- I know you love this over-the-top term, but if you call the way in which Walker curtailed some union negotiating powers "union busting," well...I hope you ain't seen nothin' yet.

Another case in point?

This is what you get when a union stands up to a big repressive government..... Democracy in action.

Wow Dan's gone off the deep end. So now that is the fight eh?

You are right on one thing..... We ain't seen nothing yet. Just as union busting was done in via a referendum in Ohio, it will be done in via recall elections in Wisconsin. And this also means that the Bushneviks who lost their power and are trying to get it back will be seen as the thugs they really are.

List like Solidarity, who stood up to the Communists in Poland, who outlawed public sector unions, the people of Wisconsin are standing up to statism in their own state.

Cease the personal attacks or there will be further consequences.

Then perhaps you can tell me the difference between union busting and negatively affecting unions...which is all that Walker has done?
