BBC News - Korea building design 'similarity' sparks 9/11 anger

Not sure if this has been posted on here yet but was interested to hear everyones view on this. Personally I can see why people might link this to the twin towers and 9/11 but I do not believe this was the intention. Might sound a bit harsh but I think there has to be a point where people get over 9/11 and stop fixating on what happened that day. I think this building looks pretty cool and look forward to seeing it built!

really? are you kidding me?

It's kind of cool looking. I find it hard to believe nobody on the team saw the similarity though.

I can see the similarities, and I'm not one to just forget tragedies, but whatever the case, this is in South Korea, and they have the right to build these structures. It may as well just be a coincidence, and, as I see it, the structure is rather interesting. IF this were being built in NY, in the vicinity of the attack, then we'd have a problem for sure.

I thought that was in Britain - and we already discussed it. . . .or was it Dutchland?

Gaaah - I don't know. *tear*
