Not only will they NOT be taking it to the politicians, they will reelect them. Happily. They should try that instead of blocking stevedores from going to work.

I found this:
"AN OPEN LETTER FROM AMERICA’S PORT TRUCK DRIVERS ON OCCUPY THE PORTS"
"We are the front-line workers who haul container rigs full of imported and exported goods to and from the docks and warehouses every day.
We are inspired that a non-violent democratic movement that insists on basic economic fairness is capturing the hearts and minds of so many working people. Thank you “99 Percenters” for hearing our call for justice. We are humbled and overwhelmed by recent attention. Normally we are invisible.
"We drivers have a saying, “We may not have a union yet, but no one can stop us from acting like one.”
The brothers and sisters of the Teamsters have our backs. They help us make our voices heard. But we need your help too so we can achieve the day where we raise our fists and together declare: “No one could stop us from forming a union.”
Thank you.
In solidarity,"
An Open Letter from America

Doesnt answer thr question.
Uhhh yea it does..
You asked: "Who is this again"?
I answered with the authors of the letter. AKA Who it is
Whoever they are they should quit their jobs immediately and go to work for one of the liberals that is so upset about the wealth and income disparity in the world. Or they could go to work for all the college students who cant spell the word 'budget' let alone plan one, yet believe they have all the answers to the worlds economic problems.Doesnt answer thr question.
My bad, what is thier relevance?
Uhhh they are a group of truckers that their job is to pick up loads from the port which they occupy movement closed down for a while....
If i remember correctly they were chosen to represent the truckers in general as well. So, I'm confused, are the Occupy Protesters, dirty young ignorant hippies who just want other peoples money, or rich kids? it can't be both bob.
Here are the stats given in that article:
The Daily Caller has examined the arrest records of hundreds of Occupy Wall Street demonstrators and found that they live in homes with a median value of $305,000 versus the national median of $185,000. The median rent for apartments listed by OWS arrestees was $1,850.
Assuming that most of the OWS protestors live in NYC (or even the outlying areas), of course the prices of their homes are going to be higher than the median. And sure the median rent is $1,850, but that could be the cost of an apartment they live in by themselves, or an apartment they share with 5 people. So I don't think you can make the conclusion that OWS protesters are rich from this article.
To the people that are sympathetic OWS:
Do you guys support the action to block the ports? Why or why not?

Are they ALL the trucker? I'm trying to find the relevance.,
