Union members may be just a little pissed off, if their checks are smaller and still have to pay their full dues. In which case the union may have to cut them some slack, which means the union doesn't get it's total grease installment.

At least as far as my union goes, they only get their dues from me when I am working, and collecting a paycheck. And the dues are based on my income level. Members with higher incomes pay higher dues than members with lower incomes. And members with no income at all pay no dues at all.

My union is probably the same one that represents a lot of the workers who are currently being attacked and put out of work by the OccuVermin.

We can be Godless and free. • “Social justice” through forced redistribution of wealth. • Silencing religious opinions counts as “diversity”. • Freedom without moral and personal responsibility. • Civilization can survive the intentional undermining of the family.

Well, thats why i disagree with the blocking the port, because its as you said, "imposing your will on other people". but you have to agree (well i guess you don't HAVE TO, but you should...) that a rich huge corporation is easily enough prone to doing wrong things, and when that happens, the only real way to get their attention to stop, i think, would be to take away their source of happiness aka money. another aspect of the Occupy movement, is the thing some people are doing now, where they are putting their money in credit unions instead of the big banks on wall street, which i think is just a great way if more people did it, to get them to stop what they were/are doing with that money. i mean, if no one is putting money in that bank, what are they ganna do?
