I don't hate small businesses.
Couldn't prove it by me, the way you want to tax them out of business.

I don't want to tax anyone out of business. Please stop lying about my beliefs.
You want to set tax rates based on gross profit vice net profit. That won't work, so you must be trying to tax businesses out of business.
no, I want corporations & businesses to have the same tax-rates as persons making the same income.
No, it's not. Corporations--just. like. individuals.--pay taxes on their net income, at whatever tax bracket that lands in, as it should be.
Thunder said BEFORE deductions, so not sure what your disagreement is.
I've already expressed my disagreement. If you owned a small business and you only profitted $40,000, do you think you're going to have $14,000 just laying around to pay to the IRS?
Then, after Uncle Sam pulls your eyeballs out, you won't have any operating capital for the rest of the year. Better hope your debt burden is zero.
If a corporation has a net profit of $40K as you mentioned doesn't it have to pay 35% of that? Did not know there was a graduated rate for corporations.
No! It doesn't! A corporation that nets 40 g's pays 15%.
Oh and while you're trying to tax corporations a whole 35%, don't forget the state taxes they also have to pay.
I know it may come as a surprise, but for a business to operate, it needs to actually keep some of it's money.
I don't want to raise the rate just did not know about the lower 15% bracket thanks for letting me know.
The first way to deal with this problem is the same for corporations and the general public.... STOP THE GOVERNMENT FROM SPENDING MONEY ON UNCONSTITUTIONAL PROGRAMS..... like Welfare (corporate or personal), Medicare, HUD, Education, Environment, etc.....
Exactly. Corporations to blame? No. Blame Congress if you don't like corporate welfare. Amazing people need to be continually reminded of this.
We live in an era of corporate socialism.

I don't really know what else to say, it's sort of all been said. Our politicians are not really listening and people are slow to act. It's starting to happen though, OWS is proof of that. The situation will just continue to deteriorate until more people get involved in the activism - probably because more people will be affected - and then... well, I just hope it doesn't turn violent, but it looks like it probably will.
Average Joe isn't saying any of the things that the occu-tards are preaching. I certainly don't want my tax dollars to be used for even more Leftist bailouts and bull****.
Am I the only one that finds just a little messed up that the occu-tards are bitching about bailing out the banks in one breath and in the very next breath they're calling for the government forgive all their student loans?
All I have to say to that, is: Not with my goddamn money!!
Actually the "ocu-tards" seem to be against the gov money going to corporations..
So you are agreeing that you are wrong with your earlier statement?Yeah, and going to bail their stupid asses out instead.
Yea education sucks! :lamoWhen I see actual college graduates coming up with these lame-brain ideas, it makes me proud that I didn't go to college.
So you are agreeing that you are wrong with your earlier statement?
And if you would like to get educated on their demands ill provide them for you here instead of making ignorant typical remarks
I can tell the view of the movement you have is the one FOX "News" only preaches to you.
Yea education sucks! :lamo
Actually this list of demands just confirms everyone's view of the movement. No basis in reality, extreme leftism, complete misunderstanding of economics, and a huge sense of entitlement. Demand 11 was good enough for a hearty laugh. :lamo
And do you believe that this is some 'official" list that every OWS participant, supporter and sympathizer pledges their support to?
There is no uniformity in the movement, hell there is rarely uniformity in any movement. The list is representative of the movement as a whole as it is their "official list of demands". You can play the fragmentation game all you like. It doesn't restore credibility to the movement as a whole.
What I am about to post for you here is real. This comes from an Occupy Wall Street Website, posted by an individual by the name of Lloyd J. Hart. While I am ready to get into what is being said on this website, a little background information is needed so all of you know about what is being said here. While searching through the website and entering the “About” section, the author of the website is very clear to state that this is NOT an official Occupy Wall Street website and members are not connected with other groups in the movement, although all in the movement are welcome to come to the website and form up in the fight against…well…we will get to that in just a moment.
And this list comes from who exactly if it is so "representative'?
I am sympathetic to the entire movement but I do not endorse that list of most of the things on it. For a living, I am in government and politics and I no of nobody who I work with or associate with on the Democratic side that would agree with that list.
update
this from conservatieoutpost.com about the so called author of that list
